If knicks pulled that with our cred we’d be blaming Perry and mills.
IF Miami does this its “genius”!
Riles earned the cred. He didn’t really phuch over Dragic but 19mm it should be ok. Its the business and he knew this could happen. He has a family and last year of contract. He spend 7 years with club, he is ok.
Let’s revisit this after the seasons and find out if Riles had it nailed or not. Its a small window and the talent is there. Its can they stay healthy? Can Herro be the guy again? Is Jimmy gonna sit out a lot?

Just checking but it looks like the Lowry trade investigation has still yet to be announced.

If I'm Jon Horst I'm asking for everything. They didn't even get to sign Bogdanovic and still lost a pick. Especially since the Bucks seem happy to go solo as much as they can, they really should be the ones pushing for some heavy, heavy penalties for two potential conference rivals. Lowry is the guy with his neck out, it would be some delicious justice if he ends up in OKC.

The general consensus is that they will let the trades go thru but perhaps fine or take away draft picks from teams involved.

I still don't understand why they immediately let the info leak that player x has agreed to a sign and trade- why make it look so blatant? what's the rush in leaking it? Why not leave it a few days?

could be agents wanting to induce panic on teams so they overspend. Lowry is off the market quick for big money, I need to drop a bag of money on lonzo. that kind of thing???

just guessing because i agree it does seem crazy

Also good marketing for agents. "Look, see what I just did? Sign me if you want results!"

Yikes, glad we didn’t hire him as coach, the whole thread is quite worrying and explains a bit more maybe why (or at least probably contributed towards his decision) Larry Saunders walked away from the game:

This was just a few days before Lin was diagnosed with the torn meniscus. I'm willing to bet that this was the play where the injury actually happened. Watch his left knee crumble. He probably toughed it out for a few days before talking about it with the medical staff - it probably took a few days before other aches went away before he realized the nagging pain.

This mugging in broad daylight, as much as anything else, spurred the end of Linsanity.

We call KP a douche (because he is) -- Kidd is way beyond douchedom. A history as a coach killer (as a player and as an assistant), spousal abuse (kicked his wife in the stomach), a DWI crash, throw in the Lin mugging...guess the guy has talent in basketball.

For me all the more reason to enjoy Mavs failure.

He should be a good fit with Doncic though. I imagine stories like practicing on Christmas Eve are the kind of things that are music to his ears. Rick Carlisle was too much of a nice guy.

I'm way too excited to see Enes and Nerlens battling it out the next time the Knicks play the Celtics.

If they show Noel how to pivot or side step, Enes and his slow feet/hips will never be able to stop him.

You know I gonna spin wit it

Luka likely grew up idolizing Kidd. Plus the first time KP starts in with his sh t Kidd will make him go run laps and eat sh t

Not even. We didn't see it here, but Noel has a decent face up game for a big. He can just take him with the first step.
