I pretty much watched everything. I'm waiting for the investigation into how the capitol police f'd this up, and who gave the orders for them to do their jobs like drunken school crossing guards.

Heads should roll, resignations should be asked for and accepted, and the House should impeach Trump for a second time.

And we still have not heard an administration, security, or police authority do a press conference.

We are bloody laughing stock, and Trump now takes his place as the worst American leader of my lifetime.

The cultural “blame game” will make us feel better. Not the first time in history masses fell for a narcissist sociopath. IN fact one might say this was a long time coming and perhaps the lesson is we vet our leaders better. We picked a TV personality with little substance. He never practiced law so we never saw him pass the bar, practice with no infractions, understand the laws, and be transparent to be certified. This would include run a publicly held company and be accountable to laws pertaining to finance and a board of directors. The man was a mirage we talked ourselves into believing. The self interest groups of orthodox religions (both Jewish and Christian) used him. The Russians needing sanctions relaxed used him. The American corporations used him to lower taxes. The ultra rich used him. Trump gave them what they wanted.
I believe he has a history of money laundering thru shady real estate deals and thru the failed casinos.
The lack of transparency from not showing his taxes was a clear suggesting things are not pure enough. He was compromised. I have no proof other than a bad sense 4 years ago and the resulting presidency. He surrounded himself with many who have been prosecuted.
With no answers to solve our nations problems we voted this guy in under the “what do we have to lose”.
Fact is maybe we need to emphasize what we do have as a nation instead of treating ourselves like “the customer is always right” in a fine department store. We are not entitled to everything.
At the end of the day we should be lucky if we can get out of this (11 more days) without launching a self serving war or inflicting a nuke on others. That hundreds were not killed yesterday was a blessing. While it never should have come to it I am greatful restraint was used to the mob instead of exacting violence to suppress it.

It was a white mob. It looked like a Ted Nugent concert. It was a misguided group that is in need of hope. It is not over. White nationalism has existed all thru our history. It was consolidated yesterday.

MY mind spins with hypocracy and the lack of sense of what that mob thought would happen. The fact they came from near and far to even congregate is an issue. That they followed on mans lies and the symptomatic build up of media and politicians that hitched on to trump for self promotion is disturbing. He was given the stage one more time and whipped them up into a frenzy for his self purpose.
Mao of china, Mussolini in Italy, and Hitler is among many charismatic leaders who sociopath character enabled their ambitions to be fulfilled. History does not remember the many many failed attempts of such a power grab but rest assured they exist. Good does prevail but not all the time.
yesterday we certified the election, few people were killed, we got rattled and perhaps might learn a bit and we might have to be a little more humble and tend to our democracy and treat it with respect. We took it for granted. Thats what happened when we elected trump.
