It's a relief to see, indeed!

Woodson, in his postgame interview is giving props to his staff for suggesting the JR Smith / Melo 2-man game. Much respect to the coaching staff!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

A few side points.

Mike Bibby -15 for the game
Ekpe Udoh is the new Serge Ibaka
Why didn't Ilyasova return?
Im really glad we didnt draft Jennings
Iman Shumpert will be an All-Star and should make All=Defense team this year already.
J.R. Smith is the most frustrating player to watch in the world.
Charles Oakley wishes he was as awesome as Tyson Chandler.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?

Blasphemy on the Oakley point
Was Jennings that bad?
Kudos on the other points

On a total side note, I want to give huge credit to Crushalot. In this day and age of jaded angry Knick fans, I remember you railing angrily about 1.5 seasons ago about every move the knicks made I and took you for a straight up whinging buzz-killer. I hold my hands up I was totally wrong. When the team does well and makes smart moves, or even when dumb moves pan out, youre the first to get behind it even if its against your stated position, unlike so many others who cant see the forest for the trees. Its so great to see the real knick fans get their swagger back with this tough, gutsy, grinding team. Mad props my man, mad props.

Thanks for that. I probably care a bit too much about this team. I love how they are playing now.

+1

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Chandler 19 and 11 and one big stare down on Sanders that said "GTF off me"
Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

Chandler went 6/6 from the field and 7/7 from the line.

This guy is the efficiency stat lover's dream player. (AKA, VDesai really likes chandler)

I don't like the way he plays. He reminds me of a poor man's Gilbert Arenas or Tyreke Evans. Not a natural pg (Ellis is more of a pg than he is imo) and while he sometimes gets in the groove shooting, he's no natural scorer. So what you get is a guard with a very high usage rate who shoots too much, has low career assist numbers and is a bit of an ***hole. Glad we don't have him.

Tyson and Iman Shumpert are worthy of all NBA defense consideration...
Shumpert's snub from the rookie game is still a head scratcher as well. Only a couple of rookies making impacts for potential playoff teams this year.

GET THE BUCKS OUT OF HERE, WE WENT IN THEIR HOME AND SMACKED THEM..... I LOVE IT..

I was pounding my table on that no-call for the shove. VERY blatant!

I think I broke my remote on that play..ridiculous.
What I like is the next play for the rebound one of the knicks just threw one of the Bucks out the way. Like if the refs not gonna call anything I'm gonna get mine. Love it. The Knicks are Tough Minded.

Have the Knicks lost 2 in a row since Woodson got hired. Signs of a mentally tough team.

I got an angry knock at my door for yelling on that play. Wife was not pleased.

Next time let her tie you up, duct tape your mouth and set you in front of the tv for the duration. That will keep peace in the household.

Can't rebound, I watched teen woolf run down balls, rebound his own misses in traffic, it was horrible.. we were getting outhustled..

We give up leads to quickly.. 14 pt first qtr league, vanished fast..

Other than that, I think we played well...

Melo really had a good game.. 32/10, I have no problem with his performance, just a big time performance.. I will give credit where it is due...

Shumpert, still plays like a rook, but really got after it defensively

chandler got off to a great start ,really set the tone

Fields played well throughout..

Novak was hit some huge shots, that really turned the momentum

JR smith hit some big 3's..

We made shots tonight, and when we do, we win...

I totally lost it on that play. It could have changed the outcome of the game. Knicks overcame poor officiating and a good Bucks team tonight.

yea, I officiate games sometimes, so I look for positioning of the refs, the ref was right there and didn't blow the whistle.. it was a crucial play, had melo not come down and hit a clutch basket to tie the game, we might be talking about a different outcome here..

That was a horsesh$t non call. That and the technical were iffy. The 2 refs closest to Melo on the ball he bounced high didn't even blow the whistle, the 3rd ref on the far side of the court did. Melo obviously bounced it not because of the call, but because he got hurt.

Game tonight was decided at the FT line.....Knicks 23/27, Bucks 15/24. The Technical foul on melo could've created a lot of momentum the other way, but the missed FT ended up sparking the Knicks run instead.

yeah, that play was huge. then melo hits a shot right over mbah a moute the other way. melo is clutch, "small sample size" or no.
