I don't think that is what it is. I think the point was that even LeBron gets criticized when his team struggles but reporters excuse Durant or find excuses for Durant when his team struggles.

I keep asking for examples and no one's providing them. Is this like 1 or 2 reporters or is the whole nation doing it?
Regardless, Durant is playing great and his team simply is over-matched.

It was the ESPN crew yesterday of Jalen Rose, Magic, Wilbon, and Simmons. Making excuses like Durant is playing too many minutes. Durant had to guard Marc Gasol. Yada yada yada.

Also the NY Daily News with titles like "Kevin Durant leads depleted Thunder against Zach Randolph and Grizzlies in West semifinals".

Well he did lead the depleted Thunder against the Grizzlies. I'm not sure what the complaint is.

The complaint may be that Melo isn't afforded the same consideration...Case and point, many of your discussions about Melo's failure against the Heat last year while not noting Chandler's illness, Amare being Amare(MIA), Shumpert's ACL, Lin's Knee, Baron Davis knee, etc...The year prior against Boston, etc..

You got me confused with someone else. I evaluate players based on their performance and give very little wait to the overall team's success because it's confounded with too many other factors.

Oh no...I got the right guy..since u like to correct my grammar, most people use weight instead of wait in that context...

LOL. Oops. At most, I pointed out inconsistencies in others arguments' or if I did criticize Melo for the teams performance, I was just a frustrated fan making a bad argument.

with westbrook out durant is being asked to be a point forward, scoring and to a certain extent orchestrating, which entails facilitating. something similar happened with pierce.

no such requirement was made of melo. instead you and people like you think it's okay for melo to be melo, ie be a volume scorer without having the burden of making others around him better.

and sorry but "creating opportunities for other because he draws so much attention" is not the same thing.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

not much really. two assists per game and two turnovers a game is not going to get it done.

Its too bad Andrew Bogut can never stay healthy because he is a total beast defensively and on the glass.

How could the Warriors best play in the situation be to isolate Jarrett Jack for a long contested jumper?

Teams have to stop the BS play where they run 12 seconds off the clock and leave themselves with no options.

I guess it's good to know that the Knicks aren't the only team running stupid/nonexistent plays at the end of a game
