Same! Used to LOVE the All-Star game but you couldn't pay me to watch it now. It's for kids and the younger or newer fans. Hopefully the players take it a little more seriously and try to compete and win.

While it been dropping is 5mill viewers an object failure? I get its not what it used to be, but is it still viable at lower numbers? What about replays and in global markets. The weekend being for sponsors and their clients?

The Allstar game really a problem? Attendance is good. Sponsers and potential sponsers gather and its like a convention of sorts over a weekend. Weekend events in the cities are well attended and as noted kids love it. They grow up to be fans. Also younger fans still like it.

The Dallas Mavericks are trading 10-time All-Star Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards as part of an eight-player trade, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The Mavs will receive Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, two first-round draft picks and three second-rounders, sources said.

The Wizards also are acquiring Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell and Dante Exum in the trade, according to sources.

Wow, didn't see that destination. Worth noting that one of those 1st round picks is this year's OKC pick. I wouldn't want AD by any stretch, but for a team like Washington that will need some luck to return to relevancy, not a bad cost trying to pair him with Trae.

Can't have a young team like that get too accustomed to losing for such a long period of time. I like it.
