The defending champs - swept.
A storied franchise (15 championships) with one of the best players to ever play the game with two giants and a madman up front - gone 5.
A battle tested veteran team that hadn't lost a game since the beginning of April - a backdoor sweep in 6.

Maybe OKC is ready and it IS their time...? We'll see. There's been a lot of teams that have been riding a huge wave of momentum that end up not closing the deal and winning the title in the end.

OKC is amazing. What a comeback last night. We'll see if they can win it all. Curious to see if they're playing the Celtics or the Heat.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

OKC all the way. There is simply no way I can root for the Celts or the Heat, I just don't have it in me. It would be like rooting for the Eagles (Giants fan) or the RedSox (Yankees fan). I want the Celts to beat the Heat and than watch the Celts get destroyed by OKC.

I don't follow the Spurs a ton but it seemed like they were missing a guy like McDyess. They needed to go big and pound the glass and they couldn't and OKC wings ran circles around them.

It does feel weird wanting the Celtics to take it, like they need another banner, but it would makes my good buddy happy, so what the hell.

I feel pretty much the same. Since watching that a few years ago, I've never been able to root for the thunder. I feel really bad for seattle fans- they put up with years of c*** and just as they were about to turn things round, Bennett and stern stole their team.

Still shocked spurs are out- they had a historic collapse these last few games.

Agreed about the Seattle connection. Felt for the Seattle fans while watching the celebration last night....

Can't decide which of these teams I dislike more. Cheering for the road team each time, on the basis of enjoying the sickened look on the home fans' faces.

All hail King James tonight. That was a magnificent half, punctuated by his absurd put back dunk.

Back to OKC
they got great kids

But when they are ready Russell Westbrook and J.Harden will chuck their way to points even if they hoist 20shots
and each Harden and Westrook will pass the ball to nobody really except occasional passes to Kevin Durant.

a team with what 8- 9 total assists per game winning like OKC
is amazing

Why does Wade insist on making his shots a million times harder by fading away.

Huge 3 by James as Boston started making a big run.

I feel like Doc just threw in the towel with this lineup.

Only if you don't like seeing one of the best players in the NBA put in an amazing game.

Miami-OKC is the better Final as long as Miami loses again. Boston would have no chance of beating Miami had Bosh been healthy

I am not too convinced that OKC has what it takes to beat Miami, I don't know why but I just am not convinced.
