Shump got the start? I missed the first quarter and read somewhere that D'ant was staying with the same line up he had been using.

Looks like melo has a groin injury. Don't these things linger for like 2 to 3 weeks?

Somebody has to...

cmon hollie, you gotta give d'antoni a LITTLE credit tonight. the defense looked better after he replaced td in the lineup.

Melo is problably going to miss sometime with groin injury. I'd start Bibby, Shump, Fields, amare & tyson

Nice catch nyk4ever. Nice catch. That is how you build a team.

well i know you caught it too earl. great to see.

You can tell Davis is chomping at the bit to get healthy and on the court. He probably sees so many things he could be doing to help the team.

amare and Chandler both with double doubles.

I thought Shump and Jorts both made an impact. The Knicks did well in the draft. I thought Singleton looked good as well. Wiz have a lot of good young talent.

Jorts was great. didn't force anything and play'd great D with tough rebounds. He's a heady player.

Ugly Win. The noose did not loosen around MD's neck.

All wins are beautiful.

Especially when there is a revelation in the backcourt.

7 assists and 5 steals for Shumpert is just the beginning

ewww let's not get carried away here bro. bibby looked OK tonight, but you can't go startin him, even if melo misses time.

C'mon, 4-11 is not a bad night when you consider how Shumpert changed the entire complexion of the game.

It's under 40% lol..that's bad but all his misses were in the flow...he was 1 for 5 in 3s so inside the line he shot great. It didn't hurt the team. He took the shots he was suppose to take. Overall Great Game but scary thing is it can get better. He missed open 3s.

shumpert out of the game late in the 4th because he was cramped up again. not that d'antoni pulled him.

Knicks got by the winless Wizards by the skin of their teeth, but it's better than a(nother) loss. We should have blown them out though, IMO.

This team still has a ways to go, but the meshing is happening slowly but surely.

They'd better keep focusing on D. Shump need to start until Davis gets healthy.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Phew! Giving me ulcers:

1. Shump is the real deal. Needs to improve his shot but I like how he's progressing with the playmaking and decision making.
2. We have no penetration defense and John Wall is really, really fast
3. Great work on the offensive boards by Chandler.
4. Defense was horrible as ususual
5. Melo when he's on is unstoppable
6. A win is win though! We just need to hold on and not get in too big a hole and hopefully when we start playing better we'll be competitive enough to be relevant
