They're giving up the best player and the pick?

How are they giving up the best player? Crawfford and Joe Johnson are similar talents, plus Kurt is a hell of a backup for Amare... or a starting Center..

This isn't bad, but they are giving up the best player, Joe Johnson is clearly better than Craw or Kurt, combined I would say they are better than him, but a late first rounder could round that out. I really don't see how Kurt plays with Phoenix though, it doesn't seem to match with their style.

Its not bad either way, I don't know if I do it, it doesn't seem to make us a better team. We still need bigs, who can play and are skilled. I think the most compelling reason to do this would be to get the pick, Joe Johnson is gonna be making alot of money. Come to think of it, the salaries aren't going to match unless you thik Joe Johnson is getting over 12 million next year. He's good, but not that good.

Look, we can creatively put a package that would send Kurt and Crawfford out of town for JJ and another player. Phoenix biggest problem is their bench, they don't have any other player other than Jim Jackson that can put the ball in the basket...With Crawfford, they would have a young dude that would be the a replacement for Nash and will also be the starting SG.

Joe Johnson plays defense and doesn't put up six stupid shots per game. He's far better than Crawford. Kurt would be their third best PF. JJ is simply a lot better than Craw or Kurt.

when zeke traded for tt the vision of starbury and tt running the floor should've been a good compliment......no such thing ever happen and knick fans were exiled to mediocrity

nothing against ariza, but i would dump tt in a heartbeat.

matrix + starbury = winning season.....do it

Ha I love it. Kurt is a cancer on this team and the reason we can't expect Marbury to lead it...but when it comes for another team, Kurt is a hell of a backup or a starting center.

As for TT and Ariza for Matrix...I would reluctantly do it. Any trade that ships Trevor out of town I would be reluctant on, but I don't see how you could turn it down.

Marion and Stodamire were not too fond playing alongside with Marbury ..

Why would he want to come with the Knicks especially since Nash had a career yr and blew up his(marion) stats

I rather keep Ariza who's only 20 instead of MArion who'll be 28 next yr..

matrix stats under nash were not that convincing in saying nash is the reason for minuscule improvement. i see the maturation of a excellent player heading in mvp territory being somewhat contain in sun county.

in other words, if the matrix wants to bring his best, ny is the market made for players with exceptional talent such as his.

.....you never know, matrix to the mecca could result with mvp honors

you cant blame the matrix for suns getting beat down by spurs

besides, nash collected 1,066 points in mvp balloting compared to 1 pitiful point (probably out of charity) for the matrix........please

i dont know about you, but from my seat, Marion played like sht and was the main reason they lost. Losing JJ hurt badly as well, but this is a guy averaging 20-10 and is totally taken out of the series even though he is the teams 3rd option. Great players step up, amare stoudemire is the NEW great player in this league a true MVP, a new Karl Malone--perhaps even better, and unstoppable force. Shaun Marion picks up the scraps in the high tempo. he is also a great player, but 20 notches below Nash and Amare. I dont even know if he is truly better than JJ despite the 20-10, but will give him the benefit of the doubt. They have a great thing going in Pheonix, Im doubting they are going to break it up aftre winning 62 games. they need more depth and an enforcer on the D

With the Suns' style of play (Amare at the 5, Marion at the 4), it's not exactly a fair situation for Marion to be the natural matchup against Duncan. Duncan's more of a center, and Marion's really a SF who plays big...

I was suprised to see Marion fall off the map in this series--- you'd think a guy who cleans up on garbage points would have been able to do some damage in this series.

Ariza has proven very little in the NBA thus far (who knows if he's truly even future starter material)... and TT has proven nothing in almost a decade, other than that he's not the player KVH is... :)

It'd be an awful trade for the Suns, who relied on Marion a lot during the regular season.

Marion is similar to Kenyon Martin in that he is a great piece if you have a good team already. He plays tough and excels in the open floor but struggles when he has to create his own offense. I do not want him. If we got him and didn't get raped I'd be pleasantly surprised, but he just isn't the kind of player we should be looking at. We should not try to be the Sun's. JJ and Amare are the only players of their's we should be thinking about.

Briggs, you ever play ball with a severely sprained shooting wrist? It can influence your game just a little!
would you guys do TT & Ariza for Shawn Marion?
