Saying "Isiah will succeed" just because makes you a homer.
Who are you referring to? I know I've never said that he will succeed. All I've said is that I've supported the majority of his decisions. Were you referring to someone else or grossly distorting my position?

Dr. Fishmike,

I tried to warn y'all, its a snit trap.

I was watching "Star Wars" last nite with my kid and the one thing that time has not been kind to is how annoying that gold lamay laden faggot anal retentive robot "C-3PO" really is.

When I read Bonnies posts, im hearing only C-3PO.

Try it, see if fits!

This is the stupidist damm thread in a long time!

holy crap thats the funniest site I have seen in about a year. Freaking classic man...

As for Bonn read what I said. I can see why you took "There is some sentiment on this board by some that if you point out..." as directed at you, seeing as how you do respond to every post on every thread. However this is not the case. Read what I said again if you need to. Many times someone says "some trade sucked" (which it probably did) and someone else says "your only saying that because your a hater or you want Isiah to fail."
My whole point was thats exactly the opposite of what I am thinking.

So quit acting like a gay robot and throwing a hissy fit because you think a general comment was directed at you.

Saying "Isiah will succeed" just because makes you a homer. Sorry, but that's pretty much the text definition.
There is some sentiment on this board by some that if you point out Isiah's bad deals for what they are or talk about how little he has done to improve our situation that you actually want him to fail. This couldn't be further from the truth, at least for myself.
The offseason that Layden added McDyess and Frank Williams I was VERY optimistic. While we still had a gaping hole at center I thought Frank could do what Duhon has helped do for the Bulls (with some more scoring). I was worried about McDyess but if you remember those first 2 preseason games the guy was lights out. He was jumping out of the gym. I wanted nothing more than to sing Layden's praise as I thought a Frank/Houston/Spree/McDyess/Kurt SL could be pretty effective in the east. Obviously the rest is history.

If Isiah make makes good with this draft you will see the same kind of blind optimistic kool aid drinking enthusiasm I started that year with, because that's how I *want* to feel. Sadly, I have left Dido alone on bizarro world and reside here in reality, where what you see is what you get. So far what I have seen from Isiah doesn't instill me with great confidence or enthusiasm, but like I said if he shows us some of what Briggs is talking about I will be chugging the kool aid all summer long while I post summer league box scores and tout Nate Robinson as a cyborg cross of Spud Web, Wolverine, Dominique Wilkins and Bug Bunny from Space Jam.

at this point, all i need is a re-visit to the "DO NOTHING" post b/c if isiah just drafts 3 players and buys out penny, i would consider this offseason EXTREMELY successful.

Are you including resigning Jackie? I'm still curious about that guy.

if isiah doesn't bring back jackie, then it's for a reason. he'll be on the summer league team so i guess we can evaluate him then.

it's funny, i have 100% confidence in isiah draftin ability, and ZERO confidence in him ACTUALLY drafting.

Jackie was on the TWolves summer league team but he never got a lot of minutes and probably just wasnt ready. Having done what he did in the CBA I'm pretty sure he will be a featured player on that squad. I'm hoping he dominates as he did in the CBA and we sign him.

I can see it now, all big buzz on draft, but the dudes actually getting run is another story! And yes, the dreaded trade!

Definitely. And Charles busting big-time on Craig Sager. Remember 2 years ago Sager asks Casey Jacobsen if his girlfriend has a sister and Charles says "The sister's shaking her head no!"

IF Isiah can find a center using KT, then we have mo t and sweets as PF, im ok with the Mo t trade. Not every needs to make sense right now.

Thus, I must be not negative as I want to see the finished product, and that might still take 18 more months.

Jury is still out. I said day one, Isiah gets his four years. In fact, He gets 4 plus his half year!

It's funny you think of it as the Malik ROse trade. I think of it as the 2 #1's for Nazr trade and we had to take ROse to balance the numbers.

Yes, but I don't really trust in the 30's# picks.
