I want to keep TT, but it looks like he's headed to Philly for Webber.
Where did you get that idea from?

At the end of the season the question was broached on whether Tim would mind going back to Philly where he played college ball in the area, he smiled.

I think Tims problem is he smiles too much. tim was asked what sound does a cow make, he smiled.

Old, but still relevant.

Still, it seems keeping Timmy is a better option for us...however...what if it landed dalambart (sp?)

Sixers to Target Tim Thomas this summer

NY Daily News - The New York Daily News is reporting that the Philadelphia 76ers will have interest in trading for the Knicks' Tim Thomas this summer.

Thomas began his career in Philadelphia and still owns a home there.

"There's been a lot of talk about trading me," Thomas said. "We'll see. I'm just going to prepare myself to have a great season. I'm not going to stress about where I might be. If I'm here, so be it. If it's someplace else I'm still going to have a great year."

"The way I'm playing now is how I envisioned myself playing at the start of the season," Thomas said. "But things happened. That's why I'm already looking forward to next season."

Thomas, 32, wants to remain with the Knicks but realizes that he has no control over his future. There are rumors that the Sixers could make a run at Thomas, who began his career in Philadelphia. Thomas smiled when asked about returning to Philadelphia, a place where he owns a home and spends most of his offseason.

all kool aid all the time.

yeah but he is not 32 years old, I don't know where they got that from. They must have used KT's age...stupid reporters.

yeah, that was discussed when we had a thread on this article a while ago. They must have gotten confused because of the same last name. Or maybe they just saw TT play and thought he must have been in his 30s!

The asking price wasn't high, he was traded for garbage players, some of whom had expiring contracts. We easily could have done that.

Isiah said he wasn't trying to go in that direction: a maxed out player over 30 with health issues. I don't see how that can change.
It's possible that the asking price would be so low that even Isiah wouldn't pass. If they're willing to do something like Malik plus JYD for Webber, I'd do that.
yeah me too.
