sweets you dumbarse- I. Thomas told marbs to throw the game! Why do you think he missed those clutch FTs and tossed up the last shot like that?
Why shoulda beat NJ like this! But Reggie deserved this probably more than anyone, and he got it.

Steph 17 and 19 assists!!!!
Jamal Crawford 32, 5 and 5. shooting 13-20, and 4-7 from 3!
Sweetney 20 and 9, plus a game winner, shoulda had 30 tonight if he hadn't blown so many shots.
Kurt Thomas 15 and 12, a 3pointer that sent us to overtime.
Malik Rose 12 and 7.

Just a quick note before riots start up after this game. Just because we won doesn't mean we automatically lose the 6th draft spot. Just keep that in mind.

give credit to the knicks for winning, but as far as the future, we just lost a peg for sure. this win doesnt nothing positively for the knicks and it does nothing to the pacers for a loss. if we win the game going away, cool, but KT hitting a 3 and sweet and that buzzer is a huge waste. we may not feel it now, but at the right time in about two months and beyond, that couldve been the worst shot in knicks history.

too bad so sad.....looks like knicks may have to do some things the old fashion way.

this win meant more to real knick fans than any lotto pick.

reggie, thanks for the run. this is how we say goodbye

"Worst Shot in Knicks History" It ain't that bad. I can think of a few shots that may have been more important. Starks - game six, Charles Smith not being able to put one in from point blank range, Ewings finger roll ( the fact that none of these shots needs more explanation - shows how important they were.) Any of those shots go there is a good chance us fans would feel a lot less desperate about where we are now.

this was an entertaining game with the knicks starved for a win
to start it off, matt - please predict knicks losses from now on, thx for the pessimistic prediction for once
second, jermaine jackson is not that bad of a defender and he looks like he could be a good role player
third, marbury/crawford are utterly devastating when they go INSIDE AND outside. Crawford on fire is scary, while marbury penetrating got sweets so many freaking chances to just lay it up, but he often couldn't
fourth, reggie is so freaking good. seriously. just appreciate the guy while he's still playing.
and anthony johnson and other guys highlight how the knicks just plain suck on defense. role players are turned into stars against the knicks.
huge props to kt for hitting the first clutch shot of his career

Stupidest post ever. Just kidding, but you can't obviously lose on purpose when you have a chance to win the game. That just makes you look bad. Would you have been happy if Sweetney just stared at the ball, and didn't even try? Although I still don't understand why Ariza isn't starting, or even playing more than 10 minutes. That's pretty stupid

This team doesn't deserve fan support after all the cra p we had to deal with. It really is the dumbest team ever.

You can allot minutes with an eye toward the future. Marbury should't be playing, Butler should be getting minutes, etc.

a win like this could be a conduit to a winning streak down the stretch to teams who dont care

we could go from lottery position 6 to lottery position 10-11, possibly 12 and that would put us from prospects like Bogut Williams Green Taft out to what would be a secondary level guy. If that is what you want from your losing year, thats what you ll get. Not only is it a waste of a season, but the hope you did receive from being a 6 driven down to a 10-11-12 is out the window. i can easily see Isiah then Packaging the 10-11 pick with a Sweetney Ariza to get a Magliore, and we will spend another 10mm on a mediocre talent.

Winning today was unlucky, it would ve been nice to play hard and keep that respect but get the L because the L works for us now. the W=absolutely concrete sht. Could we cut marbury's minutes and play Subndov Ariza Butler down the stretch a bit to see some things? who would blame us? did the beating up on crp eastern tankers help us last year? NO--it was a DISGRACE to make the playoffs well below .500--in fact there should be a rule puting teams under .500 OUT no matter what. Does a real Knick fan care if they beat reggie miller inhis last game? NO! a real knick fan wants us to get INTO the best posible position to improve the team. We need to improve the team, there is no other rationale option for the rest of the season. So the rationale decision is to let the guys play hard, play to win, but put in the sundovs butler arizas and let them do it. and if they cant and we lose, well no big deal.

The Knicks are being stupid right now, b/c they are playing for pride, which is the Ultimate killer now that we are out of the playoff hunt. This is starting to make me sick. This whole f-ing franchise needs to be blown. Dolan, Isiah, everyone. We need to get rid of this entire ignorance that has haunted us the past 6 years.

If only it could really happen... Im tired of the same garbage! Dolan, Layden, Isiah, you name it. Its the same thing! The last moves Isiah did just proved me that he has really no idea what to do with NY.

Tonight I was watching the San antonio/Golden State game and I could'nt believe how much fun I had. It was a great game and the two teams really wanted it. I don't thing I have yet had that same fun with NY because they just always seem to be just mediocre. That Golden State team is going to be very, very good next season! Baron Davis is incredible and I could only hope Marbury had the same heart and leadership.

I would love to think that NY has a plan and that we will really become a better team in the next season or two, but I can't. Im sure Isiah has no idea why this season went wrong and it looks like he will follow the mistakes of Layden until he hears it from the Garden. Its so difficult to be a fan of a team heading nowhere. Im tired of this crap...

you people who are bashing zeke are crazy. give it time, i really cant complain about the moves hes made so far, not every move is going to be franchise-saving. i'd like to see what he does in the offseason before really evaluating him.
