He was selected #8 so thats not really considerd late lottery. But he was selected by the Bulls. And I really don't believe that the Bulls were the right team for his inexperience. He probably played the least amount of basketball of everyone on the team but was the oldest and was expected to be the leader. Hinrich was the son of a coach, and been playing ball since he was probably like 5 and also played 3 or 4 yrs of college ball at Kansas. You have players now talking about how it is more important to be drafted into the right situation than being drafted with a high pick.

And that would be the perfect case for Crawford. As with ANY player in the nba the right mix of player the right style of play and all that potential and all his strengths dwarf his weaknesses.
