Was he at point a lot or was he getting his assists at shooting? And was Steph playing shooting or just not passing?

It doean't matter. i think stephon started with the ball most of the time but ball movement was excellent!

the last couple of weeks, Jamal has been more of a playmaker, even running the pick and roll with Kurt. the last two or three games, he seems to be the primary playmaker.

I'd say either they're trying to shift Jamal to point and Steph to more of a pure scoring role, or the cynicist in me says they're trying to up Jamal's trade value. No doubt that the team is better when Tim is shooting more from the perimeter than Jamal though.

tim has been making a case for being a higher priority on offense
and although I'm worried starbury's value will go down if he turns into a 20/3 man instead of the usual 20/8 guy, I'm glad this crawford passing the ball experiment is working out well, but crawford is sacrificing his usual scoring (18 ppg), when this team needs all the points it can get

goes to show how ineffective Marbury's career 8assists per game average is in the wins column! Crawford is a lot more creative getting his teammates involved when he wants to. All you ever see Marbury do is go to Kurt Thomas on the pick and roll. Maybe Marbury is a SG, only problably is he's 6'2'' and doesn't play defense like Iverson!

Now, now - what did we accomplish? We beat the Atlanta Hawks. ANd a short-handed Atlanta Hawks team at that.

Apparently the hamstring problems resurface. He suited up but would play only if neccessary.

I disagree. I think Marbury is a better PG than Crawford. His game might suit SGs more but he is a great PG.

TT with another solid game-- 23 points on 8-12.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

A win is a win....but why did Kurt have to take 19 shots, while TT whom should be our first option only took 12 shots???? Something is definitely wrong with this picture in my opninion....I am also glad to see Crawf assuming a lot of the PG duty, because that is his strongest suit if we all think about it....Dude has one of the worst percentages as a scorer...He is at his best when he runs the offense and concentrate a lot more at getting other guys better...With the crew that we have right now, Marb has no choice but to play the pick & roll with Kurt....He is at his best when he has athletic guys like Ariza, Metrix, Amare, to throw the ball too.....Is he a better PG than he plays right now? I think so...

Yeah, that was good...It appears like Herb has found a little something to work with...He reduced his rotation and only played 9 guys tonight...I think that it is imperative to play Crawf at the point and move Marb to SG for now and see what happens...I much rather have the ball in the hands of Marburry as a scorer than Crawf to tell you all the truth...Crawf's shot selection is really horrible...If he continues to run the point and keep getting his players involve, we will be fine...I am not saying to keep Crawf as a PG forever, but in one of the 2 halfs, a decision must be made...Personally, I much rather have Crawf run the point in the second half...because that is when the game really counts...Crawf had 10 assists in 43 minutes and only took 9 shots...Wowwwwwww

Today was a clear example of why Marbury blows.

He is just not a good passer, look at Craw, he is not even known for his passing, and he is light years ahead of Marbury in passing and court vision.

Marbury just a scorer, and at 6 2 thats tweener sg. That is augmented by the fact that he is a pathetic defender and has a generally bad atitude.

We really need to trade him, but I can't even come up with a good trade for him, as nobody prolly wants him.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Dude! layoff of marb...Put some athletes around first and see how far he takes this team before we kill the dude....One thing is for sure, he will need to do a better job defensively next season and most of all, he needs to develop the killer mentality that Jordan, Kobe, Wade, and Iverson have....I have seen him pass on so many shots especially in the last seconds of games, that too me shows that he missing the killer instinct....As agressive as this dude can be in the offensive end, he needs to punish teams in the fourth quater.....
