As I said in another thread, my interest in Randolph depends entirely on his recovery from injury. He's having arthroscopic surgery, which is actually quiet common for NBA players. It's nothing like Dyess's situation, but if doctors had any concerns after examining him, I'd forget about trading for him.

I like Odom and I would love to have him on the team, but I'm not sure a Marbury/Odom combo would fare better than a Kobe/Odom combo (which has been a huge disappointment). An SF who plays like a point forward usually isn't the best compliment for a guard who dominates the ball (either Marbury or Kobe). Both players (Marbury and Kobe) would be much better off playing with a low post scorer, even if that player overall were less talented (like Zach).

That's an interesting point Bonn. (Though I hope Marbury has less ego then Kobe)

This could happen but Denver wants a SG.

Andre Miller is garbage....He is one of the worst PGs in the game today...He is horrible at runing a team, look at Denver's early games, you will see what I am talking about...Boykins is a much more effective PG than Andre...

Andre Miller is not garbage. Andre Miller is a decent PG that can be very effective.

He can only be effective with a losing team, let me take that back, because he was also garbage when he played for the Clips....

Dude, that makes no sense. Thats like saying Stephon's stats are hollow cause he hasnt won anything. Does that mean Stephon can only be effective with losing teams too?

its Nene I want, miller is sweet icing if he goes back to his cavs/clipper self we'll be in great shape! or even if he doesn't he is still pretty solid. Nene is a monster of a Center!

There is a problem with that. You cannot just trade Marbury for Nene, you are not getting enough back. You have to evaluate and expect atleast a decent PG in return along with Nene. I would like to have Nene too but only if Andre comes along. I think Andre Miller is as much part of the cake as Nene.

yeah exactly we need a PG if we're going to trade our PG. Miller is more than adequate. He is a top 10 PG. Crawford is a 6th man not a starting PG

Sorry for saying this, but you guys are CRAZY....Marburry with a team like Denver is very dangerous....They automatically qualify for the finals...When you put Marb with talents like what they have in Denver, the result of such a trade could force a whole city to revolt...Marb, ??, Anthony, Martin, Camby....That is a hell of a line up..

They would be nuts to do such a deal, because Ray is trying to command a big pay day....Denver will not offer him much...because they will need to save their cap space to try to resign Carmelo and perhaps Nene....They will never trade Nene, he would have to force a trade...

if I was denver I'd trade Kmart for Allen and start Camby & Nene o sign a PF who compliments Camby like a Sweetney type.

hmmmmm how about Sweetney for Nene is Denver was to trade Kmart for Allen!

Kmart for Allen??? that will never happen.....Kmart is their emotional leader...The most possible scenario will be this, Kidd will demand to be traded to Denver by end of season....Denver will jump at the opportunity and send Andre, perhaps Nene in a sign and trade to make the money match to Jersey...

Jersey will suddenly become a force once again in the league, because they will finally have the big man that they have so desperately needed....

Andre, Carter, the injured dude(Jefferson), Nene, and who ever they have at Center will be very potent...

NJ already has a Nene at Center. his name is Nenad "Nene" Kristic! they desperately need a rebounding PF to replace jason stiffins

I agree...Play Nene at PF, because that is his natural position....and have Kristic play Center...That is what I have prescribed originally...

Nene Hilario is a center not a PF. his game doesn't compliment Kristic so one would have to come off the bench as Nene currently does for Camby.

Zach and Kurt would actually work very well as a PF/C combo on offense with Marbury. If Marbury drives to the basket, Zach's defender can't leave him to help because Zach can abuse people in the low-post. Kurt can shoot 17 feet from the basket and keep the other team's C too far from the basket to help if Marbury drives. A Zach/Kurt PF/C combo basically eliminates both big men on the other team from playing help defense when our players drive to the basket. It wouldn't work this way with a player like Odom, who's nowhere near the low-post scorer that Zach is. It would work like that with Eddy Curry, though.
