yeah but he held Richardson to 6pts on 2 for 9 shooting for the most part. Nash scored 23 on stephon as every point does.

But Q-Rich shoots 2-9 on a regular basis... everyone in the league holds him to that kind of shooting percentage

And Kurt did a great job holding Amare to 32 & 15. And he's still the best defender on this team in some peoples eyes.

Amare is a monster - I wouldn't expect KT to stop him - who can? On the Knicks who is going to do a better job on Amare - Sweeney - it would be a race to see if he'd die of a heart attack or foul out first.. Naz, vin baker,tt who?

Kt also had 21 boards and 4 assists with one turnover - he only scored 4 - but he also only took 4 shots. KT is not in Amares class or any other elite or even very good pfs class - but we don't have another PF that even approaches average and that is what is going to determine his playing time.

Everyone wants to start Sweeney but why? 20 minutes per game is plenty of time to prove what you can do and he would get more if he wasn't so foul and turnover prone. I'd think it would be great if he earned his way into the starting lineup, but I see no reason to give it to him.

I hate to be the evil bashing contrarian, but I think some of would do well by chilling with the "we will win" statements. Maybe it's because the Knicks keep losing that I say this, and you have a right on this forum to say what you want, but some here are sounding rather ignorant, and immature with these kinds of responses:

"Nah, we will win.....we will win in the same fashion that we lost last night"

"Just for the fun of it: Knicks win 123-81"

"We are gonna win tonight."

Based on what evidence should we believe these statements? I think we should chill with the empty statements about the Knicks' future play. At some point we have to accept reality, this team stinks, and we won't win these kinds of games no matter what we say on a public internet forum. What reason should one believe this team will win games like this?

Is saying the Knicks will win a game some kind of attempt to sound smart if they do win, or some sort of illogically based hope for a dismal team? I hope they win too, but claiming they will win, following loss after loss to good teams on the road seems rather assinine to me.

Sure, you CAN write mostly what you want since no one will supress your statements, but can some of us include something beyond hope as the way we analyze the team's performance?

Some act like we are going to commit sucide when the Knicks lose. Jeez, it's a freakin' basketball game, chilll, not life or death. Does that mean I don't care about the Knicks? Of course I want to see them succeed, but I ain't gonna have a heart attack over this team right now. Relax, wait and keep some hope for the future. Hopefully one day this disaster will end.
