How long is Mash's contract after this season??? it is no more than Houston's nor TT's. We can always turn around and use either buy him out or trade his expiring contract to a team in need. You have to lose some to gain some.

TT for JJ & Brown should be enough if they're looking to trade those guys. Don't think I'd be interested in taking on Mash's contract unless we were getting Baron or Magloire in the process.

your wish is to get JJ & Brown, correct? i'm saying TT should be enough to get those guys imho...there's no need to take on Mash's contract in the process...the Hornets still get $8 mil off their books after TT's contract expires by making that trade so that's enough incentive right there...plus the fact that JJ has refused to report after he was traded from HOU, so he's completely useless to them anyway.

I hate PJ but JJ moves right to the start at the 3 spot and PJ would be an excellent backup center for us. He can still play some D and he's just as big as Nazr.

Bulls situation is not so miserable anymore. They are gellin.

Bulls must decide what to do after this season regarding Currys Restricted free agent status.

What do we have that they want?

Chandler is the one they will keep. They got to pay them both this year.

I can;t speak for the board but I'll say where my prevailing logic is (warning - it's not all that logical) -

I'm not convinced that Dalembert, Kwame, Chandler, Curry, Heywood, whomever else we've discussed, are going to be better centers than Nazr. i understand the nothing risked-nothing gained approach. I also understand that some risks backfire on you. Therefore, I haven't been gungho about any of these trades becuase I'm not sold on any of these players. At the same time, i'm trusting Isiah and if he's ready to pull one of those triggers, okay, I'm not going to whine about it, I'm going to be intrigued and root like hell for the guy to develop for us. If IT doesn't trade, I'll stay rooting like hell for Nzar. I know that's wishy-washy, but i just don't have stronger feelings about any of these players over Nazr.

This trade proposal just doesn't make any sense what so ever. It sound like a suggested trade from a five year old kid....Baron Davis, Marburry, Crawff?????? Comeon son, do better.

They would never do it, but if they did, I would do it, you have to, but you pull another team into the fold E-mmediately (i know how to spell). Maybe, Minny, Houston, Cleveland, Clippers, for most teams in the league BD would be an upgrade at pg, so we could just look at what teams have players we want. But this wont happen unless NO is just trying to throw away the franchise.

Mashburn = big contract until 07, done for his career, injury prone, past his prime.
Baron Davis = max contract until 09, injury prone, wants to be traded
PJ Brown = overpaid at 8mill until 07

And we don't have a need for any of them. I would only do it for the Knicks so I could try and move Davis to another team for our needs. Mark Cuban added Jaimison & Walker even though he had Nowitzki because he knew he could re trade them for needed pieces later on. It would allow NO to start over. Davis wants to be traded and his value is at an alltime low right now. They could build with the pieces they have in Maglorie, West, Smith and they will end up with a top 3 pick in this yrs draft. As well as use TT & Pennys expiring contracts as bait for other talent. If not they end up way under the cap anyway and go after the 06 free agents to go along with there young pieces. They would probably want a draft pick though which we wouldn't be able to give up.

They could get better talent for Davis but they probably wouldn't be able to unload Mashburn & PJ Brown's salary off there hands.
