I wouldn't really say Wade is a 2-guard. Did anyone watch the game last night? Jones rarely set up a play. Jones brought the ball up about 50/50 with Wade, but Wade almost always was the one making things happen. Jones just hung around the perimeter and threw up 3s when the ball was passed to him.

I'd take Wade over Marbury anyday, I'm sorry. In his 2nd year he's throwing up 24, 7, and 5, he is stronger, faster, and more athletic, not to mention several years younger. I just love his game, he's as athletic/explosive as any player I've ever seen. Once he starts getting his jump shot down the man will be dangerous. I expect him and LeBron to be trading championships in about 3 years.

That's just my 2 cents, there are very few players right now with the combination that Wade has (LeBron, Kobe, etc). Maybe not a traditional PG, but the fact of the matter is they create most of their team's offense.

I think Wade's a two guard... so is Eddie Jones but, it doesn't seem to matter when you have the most dominant player in the game in the middle.

"Clyde also said Peja was 6'10" I'm pretty sure Peja ia 6'10".

I agree with you about Stef. If he is the team's best scorer, then after a while he's going to be an idiot if he keeps just throwing it down to Nazr. So if it comes to being a selfish (and actually scoring while getting people involved) or being an idiot (steadfastly refusing to score even though he can do it at will b/c traditional PGs don't score a lot), I'll take a selfish Stef.

Watch this guy, there are times when he just decides he wants to score and nothing is needed. No pick, no screen. He blows by his guy using a change of speeds and change of directions, draws contact in the lane with 1-2 big men, scores, and like 30% of the time gets called for the and-1. It's really unbelievable.

i agree, i'd take Wade over Marbury too because he's a more well rounded player & plays good D...but he just because he's the guy dumping the ball into Shaq doesn't mean he's a natural PG...i would venture to guess that Allan Houston could average close to 4-5 assists if he played next to Shaq & they didn't have a worthy PG to orchestrate...Shaq just opens up so many other opportunities for the rest of his teammates by his mere presence on the floor...put Wade on the Knicks & he wouldn't be averaging 7 apg imo...he'd probably be averaging 1 or 2 more points however.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Why not trade for Eric Snow? We can put Marbury to the 2, trade Houston and let J Craw, Snow and Marbury be a 3 headed monster. I know Paul Silas had a run in with Snow lately. Snow is an excellent defensive point guard and a good passer. Marbury can then do what he does best, shoot and drive to the basket. Snow gets 30 minutes a game, Marbury 35 and Crawford about 30.
This would be more formidable than when the Sixers had Iverson, Snow and Mckie and they made the finals.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

HUH??
Eric Snow? So we can have 3 point guards and have one of them guard a 6-8 Sf? Bad enough craw is undersized, but lets make the whole backcourt undersized too huh? No thanx!

"Snow is not the answer" sung like Marvin Gaye on "whats going on?"
