Main question about Dadiet is what added value would he actually provide for the Knicks at the forward position? With Mo you are projecting defense, floor spacing, with long term projections of even creating shots for himself and others. For Dadiet it seems like the biggest projection is a guy that can maybe score the basketball, and thats it. At the same time not an elite first step to take guys off the dribble to create, or a high level post game.

Vs G-League comp 15 games at around 35mins per last season. Outside of the 23ppg, nothing else really stands out. Which at that backup forward spot another defender, floor spacer, rebounder would provide higher value added to the team.

Guess we will have a better idea after summer league.

I think they are hoping he shows out in summer league and then offer him to Nola again for missi .

There’s really no room for him on this roster to get mins Mo has already passed him on the depth chart .

Like you said he can score but doesn’t do anything else. He is only 20 yo though so the potential is there. To me he screams Kevin Knox’s kinda looks like he has a low motor. You can have all the talent in the world but if you’re not a killer than there’s no room on the roster for you .

I didn't but know he played well.

Unless he signs with another team, it's 2-way or trade, so Knicks SL is kinda not worth it as they've seen him for the entire year and nothing to prove.

I also noted when we drafted him that Kayil came off as a well-spoken guy who sounded like he had a good head on his shoulders
