who would have thought we'd end up with arguably the deepest team in the NBA and it wouldn't even include Clarkson or Yabu.

Amazing turnaround from arguably worst bench last year to best this year.

We are a legit 11-12 deep when healthy.

KAT has definitely turned it around, he went through a stretch where he was just barreling to the rim no matter what every single time and complaining every single time. He was like a chicken without a head.

Now he's actually reading the defense and pulling up on the drive, passing out of it, or going all the way. It's like he had options and never even looked at them.

His defense is more engaged now too b/c that's the way he is, his offense is important to his defense.

Jose's shooting outside of that 1 game has been really disappointing. He is 5 for 43 from 3 outside of that PHI game where he went nuts. Hard to believe anyone can shoot that poorly with the looks this team generates. We might need Deuce or Kolek for their shooting. Really would like to see Kolek play.

I don’t even view his shooting as important tbh. He brings a lot of what we need off the bench. Defense, pace, setting up KAT. As good as Kolek can pass him and KAT didn’t mesh to the point where KAT was reminiscing of Cam Payne in postgames.

I may get hit with a lightening bolt instantly but going to say it....

Clyde was my idol, 1st real hoop shoes in 7th grade were Puma Clydes in the Dark Blue / White suede. Got teary eyed when the traded him and he came back to beat us with the Cavs in his return.

Coolest/best/most clutch player of my youth but today I find it difficult to listen to him announce the games. He's unprepared in my mind - he has almost no idea who is playing on the opposition team (outside of stars), barely knows some guys on our own team and I just don't find his analysis fun or informative. Waiting on lightening.

He's an all time great - he's my favorite Knick of all time (Bernard #2) but Clyde is a tough listen.

I'd also trade Breen and a PJ sandwich to get Marvelous Marv back (the cross dresser is the best ever).

Have to take some of this back - watched Knicks broadcast last night (lately been watching opponent broadcast) and Clyde was very sharp last night (even tossing stats around) and I was pleasantly surprised.

The new play by play guy is VERY GOOD -- you really don't notice him but he's smooth, doesn't overdue it and I actually prefer him to Breen who is a great guy but often tries way too hard to make a point and often drools over opponents.

Mo started to feel his handles too much and they failed him.

Loved his initial drive where he tossed Ingram out of the way for the baby push shot but handles got sloppy on next 2 drives.

Needs to keep working those and his core / overall strength.

When he locks in and refs don't blow cheap fouls Kat is excellent - problem is he often slips in / out of focus.

He plays guys like Jokic/Wemby as good as anybody it's when he doesn't have an obvious matchup where he sometimes gives up easy stuff.

Was pissing me off - our D on Barrett and how often we kept giving him his left hand.

Looked at box after game and Barrett was a game low - I think -17.

Was it simply the trade deadline drama bothering him the whole time?

Anybody catch the stats they threw up on broadcast last night over last 18 games.

Can't remember specific metrics but basically Knicks #1 in D in league, #1 in 2 metrics and #2 in 2 other key metrics.

And last night 11th time in last 19 games we've held opponent under 100.

Kolek was executing more PnRs with KAT than Brunson.

Yes, He is human and needs to be loved just like anybody else does

I don't miss Barrett - at all. He's what you all call empty stats.

he's the 2nd/3rd best player on a team that might win 50 ish games... just like he was in NY. He was also a big reason we beat CLE in the playoffs a few years ago.

He's far from empty stats, he's cemented himself as a starter on good teams just about every season.

he just doesn't fit the mold of the "modern player" which is why he's can be a bit of a conundrum, but i'd gladly take him on my team. He puts alot of pressure on the rim.

He's a good bully baller. Took him years to become effective at converting at the rim, but now he is a load and hard to contain when he goes inside. Not my favorite player, but I respect him.
