The Mavs are still smarting from losing Brunson. It seems to me that acquiring Kolek would be the turn-about-is-fair-play kind of deal that would be sweet revenge.

A deal of Mitch, Kolek, Yabu, and Dadiet works for Gafford and Naji Marshall and a future #1. Gafford is locked in for years at a cost cheaper than Mitch will require.
Mitch is from Texas country and would be a great backup to Flagg.

Whatever Mikal's faults might be, he is way more valuable because he plays every game. A Jrue for Mikal swap would be terrible.

So I hope Mikal for Jrue isn't part of the deal and for me it would be a deal breaker. Also, Bridges played nice on salary negotiations as did Brunson. I think because of the Brunson- Bridges connection there would be some I'll will created in the locker room.

Giannis- Thanasis for KAT- McBride works out.

Milwaukee can rotate
KAT/Turner/Portis at the four and five
Kuzma/Trent at the 3
McBride/Rollins/ Green at the 1-2

That's a decent rotation, with a little luck the 8 spot in the playoffs for a few years while you wait for Green/ Rollins/ McBride develop.
KAT still has a lot of game in him. I think KAT said he has had a different coach almost every year. Maybe he was happy to reunite with Thibs last season. He should be better in.Milwaukee as more of the focal point.

Knicks have:
Giannis/ OG/ Robinson
Bridges/Shamet
Brunson/Hart/ Clarkson

That lineup is Championship level but because of injury concerns, the Knicks definitely need something more dependable than Yabu's contribution. I'm still a big fan of.K Love. I think Diawara might be the answer but I don't see Brown giving him playoff minutes.

We actually have to complete with other teams offers ya know. The point of trading Mikal for Jrue is to get picks to trade.

I like to put the tin foil hat on every once in a while and think the NBA does as much as they can to step in and help things out when it makes sense to them. Having Giannis in NY is gold to everyone involved.

NY gotta take back Jrue so that Milwaukee gets their future picks back. Bucks kinda screwed themselves and only can get like a top 3 pick cause Atlanta controls the pick?

Maybe there is another young team that needs to build around someone like KAT but that complicates a lot. Bucks need to tank this year.

This +100. If he could just play solid (doesn't have to be great - just can't be dumb/crap) we can function smoothly and are a tough out for everyone. Also when he plays smart he stays on court and lowering usage for Mitch (a good thing).

Just play solid Kat and no trade necessary.

I think ultimately we are going to get out bid on the Greek front.

I'd like to see us find a way to get Missi (size/rim-protection/insurance), a vet PG and a vet scoring option with some size off the bench.

N.O may have all of this in (Missi/Alvarado/Bey) -- we really don't have a scoring option off the bench with some size (only Deuce.Landry.Clarkson).

Problem is it would probably take Mitch centered package to net those 3 from Pels.
