Shamet is playing really well, he's what I envisioned when I thought he could be a DDV lite for us. I mean 9ppg in just 20mpg and 44% from 3. DDV is at 38% from 3 and 13ppg despite playing 32mpg. So Shamet has actually given us more scoring per 36 than DDV, heck so has Deuce. Pretty hard to believe that for me b/c DDV just seemed like such a natural scorer who was always putting up 20 every other game here.

Always thought he was a really good facilitator type player who could make some big shots and get on a hot streak

Clarkson has always been some version of what you see now, a chucker who occasionally makes a nice feed, but who is otherwise going to shoot the ball when he gets it.

His lapses in judgment and turnovers have always been a part of his game. He's a streak shooter so he is just one of those guys a coach should know when to pull if he hasn't got it.

Shamet is twice the ballplayer Clarkson is so it is likely he'll take most of his minutes if he stays healthy.
