Yikes. Rick Brunson forgot to teach his son defense

This is exatly what was on my mind, Brunson entering Trae Young territory. His lack and also his sub Kolek's in ability to stay with their man is hurtingnnthe team. As much as henis responsible for wins, at this point in time teams have figured out how to defend him. Malcolm Bragdon retiring atn the last minute is really hurting us cause we need more size at the lead guard.

Can’t win a chip if your top two players are the worse defenders. And both of these guys offense is up and down. Consistently bad on defense and need a perfect game on offense to offset. Not a consistent winning formula. This is why role players like Josh hart are so important.

How would this team look if yannus and towns swapped. Yannus defense is consistent and reliable. And he plays down hill so his attach mode is consistent. This is just an example.

At some point if we really want to win a chip, I believe one of our top guys has to be traded. Or Brown has to do some rotation magic. I remember saying this about Randle and JB. It’s the same problem with towns.
