It’d be incredibly close or No.

Kolek makes $2.2m and vet min cost is $2.3m. I think.

I hope it is him. Deuce's point of attack defense is valuable to a title team. But, honestly, if feel sick losing either one

IDK, I know you cant keep everyone but trading Kolek for Brogdon seems like a mistake. Albeit not a huge one. Brogs might be completely done.

Have to wonder if we have any plans to resign Mitch. If not, it could be time to move on. Let’s see if he can make it through trading camp healthy.

Mitch plus Trevor Keels for Kessler.

Think the thought is to let it play out at training camp.
Dadiet seems to be the most logical choice if they want to add Shamet and Brogdon.
Deuce as well if they want to add Mathew’s or the rumored Bryant.
Guess it will depend on who plays the best.
There is also an option of adding another vet later in the year under a pro rated provision to stay under the second apron.
In any case, not like we are going into the finals in October so the situation for a final playoff squad will be fluid up through trade deadline.
Rose, yet again, in control of all the possibilities.

Where’s Ryan Arcidiacano when you need him

Correct.

I’m actually interested in a way to keep ALL 3 of Brogdon, Shamet and Mathew’s.

I mean if we are anticipating going deep into playoffs next few years —- give me Brogdon and 2 (28 year old) vet sharp shooters vs kids.

Pacome I would like to keep, Kolek I’d care less about losing but some type of 3 for 1 trade could in theory allow us to keep all 3 of these guys.

It’s more likely I’d think they move Kolek and find a way to keep Mathew’s around in order to sign him later this year on pro rated deal that keeps us < 2nd apron.

Ainge will insist on Scotty Baker being added or NO DEAL.

Is that Ron Baker’s dog? I’m okay with that.

Kolek is gone. That much we know. Deuce is looking shaky. Will be a sad day if/when he is gone.

Deuce led the team in a lot of lineup metrics last season Dadiet never got off the bench.

Yeah, kinda feels like Rod Strickland for Maurice Cheeks all over again. Granted Kolek hasn't shown anything close to being on Rod's level in an actual NBA game yet.

Or maybe more like Malachi Flynn for Alec Burks (and Bojan?)

You know after thinking about it, I'm not down with just trading our young guys just for the sake of it, but I am open to the idea of consolidating Kolek/Dadiet into one really good prospect. Does anyone have any ideas of another prospect that we could deal those two for realistically.
