Pretty simple to explain why...Durant literally dissed the Knicks and rejected the Knicks. Giannis has always had positive things to say about the Citi of NY and has never had a "mercenary" mentality.

Good point. Also good that we have a top notch training and medical staff.

I'm guessing that the next coach will go in knowing that Thibs overplaying his starters was one of the reasons he got fired. I think we will see the next coach focus much more on developing the bench. I doubt they get hired without saying they will.

I dont even know what an overpay looks like though, because even getting great value for Mitch, probably doesn't make us better. He's probably more valuable to us than he is to most teams.

Mitch was really valuable to Thibs. Im not sure how he fits another coach. Thibs manta was rim protection and offensive rebounding.

That might have applied in previous seasons, but as long as KAT is here, I think Mitch is insanely valuable to us. Can't have 48 minutes without rim protection.

GS was AOK giving both Steph and Bulter the same contract.

Boston was AOK with trading for KP knowing his deal. Tatum and Brown also broke down this year and they only in their 20's. Horford was a key player on their team last year and this year and just turned 39 and played ~30mpg.

LeBron at 40 is ageless unicorn.

Steph is getting paid to continue to be the face of the franchise and put asses in the seats. Ditto for Butler who is a big name. The approach is working
