Russell Westbrook as a guy to backup Jalen and also play 10 mins next to him.

I feel what we need is a legit backup guard who can play on/off with Jalen like Quickly did.

And a C who can play on/off with Towns.

Westbrook and Walker Kessler. I like Caris Levert as well. Westbrook also brings a ton of fire that this team currently lacks.

I hope we go into next year with a brand new bench including moving on from Deuce and Mitch. Love Deuce but he's just too small for what we need and can't be lead ball handler ever.

I'd take Westbrook but Thibs would probably confuse him for D-Rose, bench Brunson and play Westbrook 48 a night.

Be nice to have someone who can shoot at that back-up guard spot -- as others have mentioned Jerome type would be really nice. Plus Jerome has size, tough defends -- a little Kurk Heinrich type IMO.

One thought for back-up guard/ball handler, scorer is A. Simons but he would cost a few assets that we probably don't have.

Russ is basically Josh Hart now...but possibly worse shooting the ball. Does similar things for a team though because of his motor and athletcism.

Live in Denver area, Nugget fans like him this year. Son in law big Nugget fan likes Russ as well BUT at same time you still get the concerns/comments about him making boo boo's at just the wrong time.

He did make a great play/pass last night for game winner.

He's much more explosive vs Hart and could legit serve as 2nd ball handler --- shooting with him and Hart would be an issue. Think we need a shooter in that spot. Someone who can legit handle, create and still knock down perimeter shots.

Jake LaRavia may be your guy here. Good 3 pt shooter with size and length. He gets a lot of steals and has the size to hold up to guard 3/4. I think he'd be a sneaky great pickup for us.

Have heard that name quite a bit but haven't seen him play well the few times I've seen - rarely got off bench.

I’d consider Kornet for the taxpayer MLE if we move Mitch. Kornet offers legit rim protection and offensive rebounding, and can actually make free throws. He can play with KAT at times. Boston can’t pay him more than the minimum.

Think the Grizzlies may have underutilized him some. He was playing well for them early in the year and hitting a good rate on 3's, especially from the corner. Kings got some value with him at the deadline. They just gave up Alex Len and a 2nd rounder or something like that. What's interesting to me is his strong defensive rating and steals rate. I don't think he's a lock down guy, but he has the length and instincts to be disruptive and the size to match up against 3s and 4s. If he contributes with 3s on offense that is the perfect bench player behind Anunoby. I think that was a role we were missing and why I was interested in seeing the like of Okeke and Warren here just add wings with more size in reserve.

We looked real good when Brunson was out and Towns and Mitch were in. I think we need another defensive center on Mitch's level so we can play a bigger lineup. Hart can be the super sub backing up the 1,2 and 3.
