OG is playing on another planet these last few weeks! He's doing stuff I never thought he was able to do! That cross over and dunk was just insane! And his three point shot is in a zone right now! I've seen enough! He's a flat out Super Star! Credit to him for his hard work and credit to the coaching staff for his development cause he was not doing this in Toronto. Loved RJ and IQ but this was such a great trade.

So good to have our Cap back! Brunson was rusty as expected but didn't force it and made a clutch 3 like he always does. KAT was dominant in that first half and it's so frustrating how he never gets calls when he drives and gets bumped or hit. Bridges with 20 and got to the line 4 times and hit 2 threes which is a bonus. And great to have Deuce back as well! Looks like the 9 player rotation is set!

But beyond that, this great scoring is allowing him to be more of a playmaker. And he's hitting 3's and FTs at a great rate. Already one of the 5 best defenders in basketball. Now his contract is starting to look like a bargain!

sure you have... Julius Randle comes to mind. Decent player. Under Thibs 2x all NBA and 3x all star in 4 years.

Remember he was already starting to do some of this in December. He was getting 20 ppg on 50/40/80 and capped with that 40 bag against Denver, which was one of his best games. And then after that his legs seemed to go and he went on rollerskates. January was bad, he missed most of Feb with the injury and now he is back on track. Aside from keeping his balance and having his legs, I think the biggest thing he's learned to do is use his physicality to finish more effectively. And right now he has that 3 ball confidence again. What an amazing development here...

Thibs isnt perfect but he pushes these guys and the result is THEY GET BETTER. It's wild because our FO gets the right kind of guys. I honestly expect something similar from Mikal next year

Good take. enjoy the season for what it is. No doubt the playoffs are a good metric to measure and we will have grumpy dudes if we don't go past 2 rounds but for most of us the season has been great fun.

100%... we didnt see ANY of the bully-ball OG in Toronto or when he came last year. VDesai despite my Thibs-homer posting I do not think he's infallible or doesn't make mistakes. However it's ridiculous to me to listen the same guys complain about this coach for playing a guy 38 minutes vs. 33 minutes like that's gonna submarine our season. Meanwhile at the same time said player is unlocking new levels blossoming under said coach. It's more a balance thing

An asst. coach (like Thibs was) or a promising college coach would be acceptable. If the FO does their homework, which I believe they would.
