Wow, the Magic don’t give him an opportunity unless someone is hurt, but he still got back. Of course, the power of money, but if they also get Mo Wagner back, this will sour on him quickly.

Oh well, whatever. Waiting on iHart has proved to be detrimental in many ways.

Goga also gets generational money for his family. Just the current generation though.

Man that 97 or so minutes that I dreamed that Goga was gonna be the next Hartenstein was quite a time in my life.

Magic working to extend center Jonathan Isaac
With Orlando having found a new three-year agreement with big man Goga Bitdaze, the Magic are working to renegotiate and extend the contract of versatile defensive center Jonathan Isaac, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Not sure how the Magic fit Isaac, Goga, Carter. Feels like Mo Wagner is the odd man out - which is weird because you would think they'd keep his brother happy in the new Nepotisim Basketball Association.

Wagner is kind of a goon too which I like and we need. I doubt $5M is enough for him.

Made up conspiracy theory by me.

But I feel that Magic signed Bitadzke in order to hold him for us, and we will make a deal when he becomes eligible for trade. Sims & Diop make $5.6mil, and Knicks have the RJ/IQ trade exception $5.24mil until Dec 29th. And a $3.8mil trade exception from the Malachi Flynn trade that expires Feb 9th.

At the time of signing. The knicks couldn't afford to sign Goga for the $7.7mil that he signed for. They may have all come to the agreement that Magic sign him for that agreeable price. Hold him for the Knicks while the Knicks make cap moves to put themselves in position to make a deal cap wise while avoiding apron. Then when Goga becomes eligible for a deal. Magic will receive compensation for him over losing him in FA for nothing, probably Sims, Diop & 2 protected 2nds or so. Knicks get Goga at a IHart initial price range but with 3 year bird rights contract.

I don't see the logic outside of looking to move one of their bigs in putting the amount of money they did toward the Center position. Especially in today's salary cap climate.
