TJ is very unique, he doesn't shoot 3s and is elite short range shooter. Maybe this guy has more Goran Dragic in him. Either way, who cares about a comp, he looks like a player and it looks like they drafted him with hopes he will be able to play right away.

Kolek reminds me of Payton Pritchard. He does more than you think he can do when he's out there. Pretty hard nosed.

he strikes me as more shifty than fast. Regardless putting a fast defender in front of him was not very effective.

Knicks second rounders at the moment assuming Kolek sticks. Pretty crazy.

Brunson
Mitch
iHart
Deuce

Kolek

rokas? if he ever comes and sticks
Hart was one pick away

then on the flip side think of all the lottery picks that were let go one way or another

Don't see a world where Kolek/Rokas both make the Knicks. Surprising we've done nothing with Rokas to this point. Kolek is probably the perfect 8-10 min backup PG for this team.

Shaka Smart is a GREAT coach and Kolek was his PG. I think that means a lot.

Didn't watch a lot of college ball last year but Kolek and Filipowski might have been my favorite two players. Happy we got one of them. Marquette was my favorite team. I was very surprised when they lost in the tournament. I think they had the best/prettiest offense in college basketball. Kolel was a big reason why

Look at Brunson, nobody can guard him. He is crafty, strong, and will not blow by with quickness. He'll put you on his hip, then in his pocket and then **** you up!
Kolek? Strong core, good shot, and if you back up on him he'll shot. Pull up on him then he'll move with the ball. Thats Brunson, that Luka, thats NBA success.
Once Deuce hit his shot it all came together.
Can Kolek do it this level? We gonna find out.
We draft him to play vs. TJ only?

I could if one of them accepts a two-way. I mean Rokas over Kolek because he has more size. But I'm sure our scouts have better insight into who projects to be more effective.

Deuce is also a valuable asset at a position where we have depth. He's most likely trade bait at this point.

Unfortunately, it’s a very hard truth for Knicks

i want to keep Deuce. i just don't think of him as a pg as much as just a guard. He can guard 1's but on offense he is so much better off ball than with it.

fun fact: all of our pgs are second rounders and all of our centers are second rounders

Deuce was like a religious prophet here for a while. Faith in him was rewarded and he turned out.
Frank was a false prophet who disappointed.

Such as they divide between the believers and non believers!
Messiahs? we don't have any on this team. Yet. JB is getting there!!!

I'd also add that none of the other PGs we have rights to offer nearly as much of an defensive impact as Deuce. Finally, Deuce has made steady improvements in his ability to take the paint and finish. Who's to say he doesn't take that next step. I like the idea of Kolek, but he will always be a defensive liability and teams might be able to target him out the game. I have similar concerns with the Rok, be at least has some size. I would be uncomfortable with Kolek as our lone backup PG until I get to see him in real NBA action.

The one absolutely beautiful thing about how the Knicks are built, is that every other position on the court is literally build around having a defensively deficient, lefty PG who also happens to be offensively overloaded himself.

It’s going to be delightful.

There are just about 3 teams in the league the Knicks would need to worry about our backup PG being exploited and we’d see them in ECF or Finals 😳😬😉
