Trade Randle!!!

^This!

One big problem with the Trade Randle brigade is they always want to sell low. At least now we’re not hearing attach #1’s for John Wall.

Much appreciation for our All Star.

Did these guys watch the playoffs? We got slaughtered by injuries and lost to a not great pacer team in the second round. We need all the depth we can get it’s an 82 game regular season plus playoffs

I can’t trust Julius - particularly thinking how shoulder injury could push him back into 3-point shooting Ju.

This team is so stacked now that we dont need Randle to deliver in the clutch like we used to, to be competitive. If Jules looks a step slower, less of a threat, and not getting better, then a trade should be explored. See what other options are out there.

If Randle is lighting up the stat sheet, Knicks are looking like contenders, Jules looks like his old self, then do nothing. Keep the starting lineup as is.

What you dont do (and the FO wont) is treat Randle like he's untradeable. Especially after the last few years of surgery, and pushing 30. Logged a lot of miles on the court, over the course of his career.

Jules in January looked amazing. His assists were up given the talent around him hitting shots.
The team was amazing.

Since his injury his legs have had rest. He has had no chronic issues with breaking feet, wrist, or hands.
Thus the "Slowed by injuries" is a fabrication for those wary of his talents. Thats OK, we all don't agree on things.

With this team the question might be fit of shots, his talent adding to chemistry, and a contract demand that might not fit.
Also, are we better served with our infusion of talent and to direct some to the center position.

torn Labrum is not a chronic issue. The surgery fixes it. This man is a 25-8 player and if that skill set is not optimal for the reasons mentioned then reallocate for the betterment of the team, and do the man a solid and get him paid on a good team.
If Minny or Houston are were he lands and will take care of him financially and helps them contend then we did the adult thing.
Randle has earned it.

No fabrication since we havent seen how mobile Randle is yet.

The start of last season many posters were saying that Randle was playing poorly, should be traded. I said that he was still recovering from surgery, give it time. A month or so later, he said the same thing, and was playing like his old self. Feel free to look it up.

As far as anyone being "wary of his talent" it was never about what Jules brought to the table, but what he didnt bring.

Brunson essentially takes same deal Randle took and he is proclaimed the second coming.
For those thinking JB did nothing great by taking less since “get paid in his next contract”, is that the same attitude for Randle? Does Randle deserve more this time around?
Are we going to treat JB the same way and reward him for taking less by pushing he be traded in third year of contract?

JB just had one of the best PG seasons of a NY Knick.
However, with a lot more help than Randle ever had, we lost to a team that showed they were no where near the bevel of an Eastern Conference Champion.

Appreciate Randle for transforming us from the jokes of the NBA to a playoff team. Those hating on him for not doing more on his own with our low level former rosters are just not looking at things with an impartial mindset. IMO

It was addition by subtraction when RJ was traded. We had three ball dominant players who were taking up all the oxygen in the offense. The ball stuck too much. Looks like it worked out well for both teams. I expect IQ and RJ to have more of an impact next season.

All we need is for OG to be available more than he has careerwise. Camby went through years of not being able to stay on the court, before putting that mostly in the past with the Nuggets. maybe the same can happen with OG.

More like people don't watch actual games. These dumb narratives are being thrown out there to create content through the off season. The only real question is how the Knicks are going to keep Randle in light of the new CBA.

Not sure.

The only issue I see is Randle's off ball movement isn't really as aggressive as I would want. It worked fine with iHart at Center. iHart was pretty good with his offball movement and still getting to his spots to rebound.

Next to Robinson, it leads to a bit of stagnancy. I am a little worried about Randle/Robinson in that regard. Its the only reason why I keep expecting some sort of move for a center that fits next to Randle better.

In Robinson's defenses, he is working his ass off on the block and taking a physical beating day in and day out. I get him being beaten up. He isn't able to get his summer offseasons while he is consistently recovering from the season. I also think that the weight gain two seasons ago came with a real costs to his mobility. He is real force on the offensive boards, but not the fastest moving off the ball. That pick n roll is just not a rolling threat.

Its not a real issue, just a fear. Randle could come in and be a perfect player in the motion offense and shut us all up.
