Right, or spend time developing any young players.

Or be able to coach offense.

Knicks are lucky Thibs has people to tell him what to do these days.

Vucevic is a nice under the radar target if the main target fails. Vucevic has been playing with a pretty good team and the results aren’t there we would just be that team with Vucevic. The Knicks wouldn’t improve much than having Robinson back simply because the Knicks defense would suffer with Vucevic. The Knicks need an elite talent that can score and provide defense.

I get the idea of upgrading the C position for spacing but if the Knicks wing players could hit just the average rate of 3pointers, they are literally good.

Well adding KAT solves a little bit as he can shoot threes. Unless RJ makes a drastic improvement with his three point shooting it’s going to be up and down as far as three point shooting goes.

I think KAT takes away so much defensively that it negates his offense. That's says a lot when you consider he's one of the most efficient face up bigs off all time.

so many ways we can go. Instinctively its about evolving rather the current core and adding to it. To me, improving the 5 and the 2 could be best. Im not against Grimes coming back but Mitch offensive deficiencies are rather problematic. Could be as simple as moving Ihart to start, and NAz reid as back up.

I would be happy with one that can hit a 12 foot jumper. Aka, STAT or Bam. We have a really good PG now. Would love a center that could run a 2 option pick and roll with. Right now, MR can only dive to the basket on PnR's. Often wondered why they did not do so with Randle. Perhaps Thibs feels JB is better on iso? Maybe right.

Ayton is another guy we need to go after and we have the assets to possibly get him. The suns supposedly are shopping some of their guys. I don’t want Durant he’s fool’s gold and will never come here.

It seems like every time Mitchell and Ayton go head to hear Robinson eats his lunch. I think there's a lot to be said for continuity and chemistry. I'm skeptical of trading our young guys for vets. I think there's a good opportunity to roll with the same squad for the next 3 seasons and have these guys become intimately familiar with each other on both ends of the court. That gets you a pretty solid regular season record each year because from November to January everyone else is still figuring it out.

I think IQ would make more sense for Toronto in an OG package. Poetl was solid for them. FVV is likely on the way out and they're probably gonna want a young playmaker to replace him. Mikal will be tough to work a deal for because his salary is so good. Grimes would definitely have to go in that deal.

I’d still make those deals.

Gimme Brunson/Bridges/Anunoby/JJJ/Turner and I would fill in the rest of the roster with undrafteds and vet min contracts.
