I wouldnt call suffocating Mobely and cleaning the glass laying an egg. Despite the poor shooting Randle was really important in that series.

Bottom line is Randle incredibly important and there's reasons the coaching staff leans so much on. Its also clear he needs to be the 3rd option because when he's facilitating more and being selective his game elevates.

25/10 all star guy who never misses games, cleans the glass and is a wrecking ball in the paint.

Randle is important but I think Obi is ready to step in and be the full time PF next season. He will be auditioning for a contract and will be a double double machine. The time to trade Randle for assets will be this summer

He was great in game 1 vs Cleveland that I’ll give you but he has not been good in any other playoff games ever. Exactly. While Randle might be miscast as a top scorer come playoffs, there’s no denying he destroyed Mobley on one leg. And even an injured Randle draws so much attention from defenses.

They'd also have to be open to taking Fournier. You're talking $60 million dollars in contracts alone. How many firstrounders would you be willing to give up?

thats a lot of salary and the real issue is can simmons be rehabilitated beyond a wasted contract?
Simmons contract and waste of talent really contributed to the Nets demise. The return for Harden was minimal because of it.

Nets picks coming in and going out is too much for me to formulate. The swaps with Rockets might not be an issue of Rockets get Webenyana or organically start to improve. Nets picks from Kyrie and Durant are pretty good haul.
Im not in the camp of laughing at their demise as a knick fan after 20 years of really not much to right home about ourselves.

There is a difference in trying to cover a hole with a band aid and tryna create an advantage.

Hart's rebounding becomes devastating at the guard position if you have forwards who are also holding their own. When trying to get the the next level those are the type of edges you need.

And as much as I like him, I'm not overpaying and breaking the bank for him either.
