I knew Brunson was important but I did not know he was this important. With him we are a 5th seed and without him we are a fighting to make the play-ins team. This just shows that we still need major upgrades to the roster. RJ and Randle been looking a lot like last years version without Brunson.

- Julius playing like a complete halfwit and shooting a tidy 5-24
- RJ with key 11 points, no D and a tidy team leading -21
- Hart 2 Hart playing like Warriors
- Mitch how are the summer skill sessions going?
- Grimes going really hard but only 8 shots while Julius,RJ and Quick chuck up 50
- Obi nice game but keep using your dribble and attack the basket

Lastly — why on earth does Thibs refuse to sub Julius out when he is going off the rails mentally and physically (mind numbing stubbornness)

Brunson is the Julius Whisperer. Saw how Julius was yelling at Evan when he tried to calm him down. Man he didn't pack his meds on the trip or something. Coach better talk to him honestly.

Lakers practically for free added Russell, Vandy, Beasley, Rui and Bamba on a team that already had Lebron/Ad — we on the other hand only had room for J Hart who has been SUPER.

Other guys like McDaniels (Sixers), Bey (Hawks), Gordon (Clippers), Richardson / Barto…etc…etc…were out there for reasonable prices but we had enough ——— or did we?

The whisper = keeping the ball,out of his hands and taking 2x shots that otherwise Jules might Jack but YES I agree Brunson was able to keep him in line. Makes you wonder what is Thibs doing in these moments where Jules blows a gasket.

Hachimura is what the team wants out of Obi. The price was probably higher then they wanted to pay and less then LA paid. Same for Vandy, Russell,Beasley,Bomba,and the others you mentioned. The Knicks tax is real
