RJ has a star mentality. It’s clear he can’t get fully comfortable as a #3 which is really a role player role, but when someone is out and he’s elevated to a second option he will step up.

Already proud of these kids tonight because without our Starting PG Jalen Brunson this team came out ready to fight and just fought throughout the entire 1st Quarter.

End of 1:
Boston 34.
Knicks: 31.

And 2/3 of our 🔥NBA TRIO in R.J. Barrett and Julius Randle just combined for 24 Points off only 9/16 shooting @ .562%.

All we've gotta do is beat Boston here in the 2nd Q and head into halftime with confidence just knowing we can beat these guys with or without Jalen Brunson.

And as I'm typing RJ Swish = 16 pts.

I still watch those dead ball shots. Deuce hits the three after Hart draws the foul. Doesn't count, but good for him to see that go through.
