There is no way he stays in Utah. Maybe for this season or until trade deadline.

Rumor is they want a package including RJ

I’d do RJ straight up for Mitchell. But the Jazz are also going to want Obi, IQ and a bunch of draft picks. Too much. Nah

Knicks are probably going to wait and see if there is a talent vet who gets bought out they can sign with the room exception. Also if a team puts a good player on the trade market I hope they make a competitive offer. Teams are not trading stars unless they become disgruntled and the newer generation of stars are still too early in their careers to care. Everyone wants that super max or they are on the rookie scale extension that limits where they can be traded.

I think the best way to improve is get underrated guys in bad situations and give them a larger role. A trade for a guy like Brunson is probably the next move. One guy who might get put on the trade market is OG Anunoby due to fit with Scottie Barnes and Siakim or we might see a team unexpectedly break it up and be ok with sending a really good player for a collection of first rounders. On the low that might happen this summer. Everything seems stalled due to the Nets trying to move KD. Usually a reporter would tweet “the Knicks are done” but nobody is done until KD gets moved.

The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away
