I'm not sure I agree with that, I know a woman here in China who has a child with health complications that can't get vaccinated. She doesn't think she can ever go back to the UK because of the prevalence of Coviid and risk to her kids. I do think that Kyrie taking heat for his decision is pretty typical for anyone who chooses to place principles over money.

That's the inference you got out of the offhanded whack comment? You gotta read the room better man.

Kyrie would be Plan c. I would rather Brunson or Murray before going after Kyrie.

Kyrie did that to get a vacation. I doubt he was all that concerned about the vaccine. It was all BS. He did his usual miss 40 games routine, only this time he had the built in excuse. He even said he personally was not that concerned about taking the vaccine itself.

Well Kyrie picked up his option. Thankfully the Knicks won’t do something stupid, this Summer, to get him.

Aside from respecting kyrie's commitment to theories on faked moon landings and whatever anti-vax train he's on -- he's got the right -- and as much as his A game would transform the product at the Garden...please God no.

LOL! You're right. A lot of my frustration comes from the general NBA media take and not our (chat) room. I agree with KDs reported take that the Nets knew what they were getting into with the NBA's most "mercurial" talent and they should understand where he's coming from.

Heat could offer a good deal, Suns maybe if a sign and trade with Ayton is possible?

What on earth could the Heat offer that we wouldn't top? they got no picks lol and Ayton mid. RJ, Randle, Reddish, Noel and 3-4 1sts and 3 pick swaps is better than any Heat package.

Bam
Bam plus Herro
Herro plus Duncan

Like it or not they have more value than any of our players

Is he opting in to genuinely play one more year with KD, or is he essentially opting in to make them either trade or buy him out (I mean, that situation is going to be toxic), so he can then go and sign with the Lakers without losing this years salary?

He is opting in to make the $30M he would have had to leave on the table, to keep his Bird Rights, to play for 1 year on a Finals capable team, AND to push the contract decision out 1 more year.

Kyrie's bluff was called and he backed down.

The way woj framed it was weird, as though it's still maneuvering. Sham made it seem very much like 'he's opted in for one more run, end of story' where as Woj added:

Yeah, but Heat aren't throwing Bam into that deal. Blah, blah, blah culture plus he's cheaper and younger. Plus, believe it or not, Robinson is only one year younger than Fournier. Herro vs Barrett? Toss up? Slight edge to Herro? But Knicks project to have better first rounders....

Never realized they just read Woj's stuff verbatim on ESPN 98.7.

Please Kyrie, make sure your minions get that paperwork in by 5pm.

Given his recent track record, who's giving Kyrie a long term contract? Just asking.

If the nets play a regular season game in Europe or Asia will Kyrie boycott? Just asking because he thinks the earth is flat
