Hoarding them and value goes up given draft considerations make them more valuable trading chip at the very least.
What is not happening quite yet is the Gleague as effective minor league feeder. Hockey and baseball model long way to go.
Until you can pay a player and assisgn them to the Gleague it won’t happen. 2 way and limited salaries are logical. Baseball and Hockey you can sign a kid or “bonus Baby” and develop them. Baseketball obviously college is a feeder. The Ignite is a good idea but limited.

Blazers Expected To Be Sold Within 6-18 Months
MAY 25, 2022 2:11 PM

The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to be sold within the next six to 18 months, largely due to the way Paul Allen's trust was crafted.

“Paul directed that the trust be liquidated upon his death and the assets used to fund his passion projects,” a source said. “None of this is up in the air. The instructions are clear: The sports franchises and everything in the trust must be sold.”

Allen passed away in October 2018 with his sister, Jody Allen, put in charge of his estate.

Bert Kolde, the vice chair of the Blazers, has been put in charge of the auction of the late Allen’s beloved NBA franchise. Kolden's target price for the Blazers is $3 billion.

And this article for the source.

Lillard at the draft, like Randle at Dallas with WWW seem like pretty strong indicators that those guys won't get moved. At least for Lillard, I'm not sure what the plan is. Moving up in the draft would have been big.

New owner might move Dame? Be their right. They might embrace Dame and continue his voice as the face of the franchise.

Agree. So far this new FO doesn’t seem to move like that, which is refreshing.

What about Cam, Obi, the number 11 pick, Kemba, Noel, and Taj (we would need to guarantee his salary), next season's Dallas pick and 2 second round picks in 2023?

Knicks would still have their own pick and 2 2023 second round picks. Knicks resign Robinson and use the MLE to get a free agent backup PF, like Thad Young.

Lillard Rose McBride
Fournier IQ
Barrett Burks Grimes
Randle Young
Robinson Sims

Knicks could also bargain to make the Blazers pick for them and execute the trade a month after the draft. That would allow them to keep Obi/ Reddish/ or Taj.

Without taking any shots at Lillard, I don’t know how you add a Lillard to this lineup and still have production from other players. One issue I see is the ball control issues between Randle and Barrett. I don’t see how you bring in Lillard without Randle or Barrett (or both) going out.

I think Randle to Portland for Bledsoe and Winslow get’s their #5 Pick and either Ivey or Sharpe. I make that move all day every day (and potentially give them draft consideration to make it work).

You know I gonna spin wit it

Ehhhhh…..not to my tastes. Mainly because I feel Lillard’s best years are behind him and we’d be getting a cap choking, deteriorating player for the next many years. After giving up a big wad of assets. There would be virtually no flexibility on top of everything else. You know, what we used to call business as usual.

But just like all the Brunson stuff, it ain’t happening.

You are proposing a 5 for 1 player deal and I just don't think that is realistic in terms of roster spots.
