Winning of course is important but wonder if he wants to play someplace he can actually be a full time PG.

The NBA top winning team the Phoenix Suns play with 2 PG in their lineup.
The Mavs adding a pass-first PG Dinwiddy to their rotation only says they want more ball movement in their offense. Brunson will be a Mavs keeper if the offense improve having 2 PG in their offense.

2 things. If they have Dinwiddie, Brunson and Luka in the lineup you essentially have 3 PGs. Also Dinwiddie is very high usage. And he can’t play off the ball.

And I think it's clear Leon has no plan.

No plan at all

who goes into negotiation trying to trade their unwanted player without offering something extra for doing so.

They didn't want to add no salary, didn't want to trade no 1st rnd picks or their half ass young players that have major holes in their game.

Great work

You really think your statement above that Leon has no plan is likely true because a deal wasn't done today?

We have no idea what was offered and what was passed on (if any).

It's fine to be disappointed (comes with the territory being a Knicks fan) but everything you've stated above is unproven and just opinions without and suggestive evidence and/or perception based on anything besides emotions...

Like last year with the rose deal, the Reddish deal was the deadline deal. I’m sure they would have loved to move off of a contract, but obviously they didn’t find a good deal, so it is what it is.

The Cam Reddish trade showed how idiotic the Knicks management are in trades ..
I'm sure every NBA team in Feb. wanted the same type of deal Rose/Perry gave to the Hawks.
Out of all the team trades done in the NBA 2021-22 season the Knicks were the only team that gave up a first-round pick. Teams gave up 2nd round picks in even trades.
Giving up a FIRST-ROUND pick for a player in a trade, and not adding the player to the team rotation made the Knicks management look like FOOLS !!!

All 3 PG fit well in a rotstion .. Chi-Town Bulls did great this season having Lavine, Ball, and Caruso.
Dinwiddy played great in Brooklyn Nets backcourt alongside (D.LO) D'Angelo Russell

The Knicks were sellers but unfortunately the NBA league was too smart and wasn't buying nor wanting anything to do with the Knicks sloppy second leftover veterans.

Hopefully we have a good draft and place guys like Kemba/Fournier/Burks on the bench.

One
, the Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers got into the mix with a deal that will send Caris LeVert and a second-round pick to Cleveland and Ricky Rubio, a lottery-protected 2022 first-round pick and two future second-round picks to Indiana,

Two
Pelicans also receiving Larry Nance Jr. and Tony Snell, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Blazers are getting Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Tomas Satoransky and Didi Louzada in the deal. The Blazers will also receive New Orleans' 2022 first-round pick (with protections) and two future second-round selections

Three

The Celtics and Spurs made a deadline day move that will send Josh Richardson, a 2022 first-round pick and a future pick swap to San Antonio and Derrick White to Boston, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. In addition, the Celtics will send Romeo Langford to the Spurs, per Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Lots of teams traded picks. Not all picks are created equal. This one was Charlotte's pick we we added by moving back in the draft. It had lots if protections which got stronger over time, so no better than a 17 pick. I think Cam has a lot more upside than anyone we could get at that position. So my opinion, it was a good trade.
