Maybe they decided not to pursue after hearing back from Derozan's camo. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/demar-derozan-lakers-bulls-free-agency-deal/1ef1okj7ea5vd1u0tztmxgrxja "I felt like going to the Lakers was a done deal and that we were going to figure it out. I was going to come home," said DeRozan, a Compton, Calif. native. "The business side of things just didn't work out. A couple of things didn't align. It didn't work out. It's just part of the business, part of the game. My next option was definitely Chicago. So, looking back at it, it worked out well." Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Perry once said they would not pursue players that don't absolutely want to be here. I'm yet to see the current FO aggressively pursue any top tier players, or any player for the matter, and it's simply because they are not Maxing out any players.. Part of the reason KD didn't signed here was because they didn't want to guarantee that 4th yr, especially coming off those injuries. I seriously doubt this FO will give up a 1st rnd pick for Myles, I think they are looking at OBI and some 2nd round picks, and INDI is seeking a 1st and some young potential stars ES
