SergioNYK wrote:Blessing in disguise imo. I like Rose but he wasn't making much of a difference this season. This is the perfect opportunity for IQ and Deuce. Excited to see what they can do with the extended role and responsibility.

Also great opportunity for Kemba to continue to show what he has left.

100% well put
Absolutely 0 value in playing Walker going forward.
Both the Knicks and Kemba have incentive to play well and then trade him if so desired.
How is it zero value? Unless you was against adding Kemba from the start, then I kinda understand. But now he;s a knick, if Kemba gives us the best chance to win, u play him. If Kemba value increases each time he plays, u play him.

If our goal is to make the playoffs and Kemba gives us the best chance, u play him. If the goal for thibs is to tank the season and lose every game, you sit him and play the rookies. But we both know thibs wasnt hired to tank. We saw this last year. So Kemba is very valuable in a lot of ways.

Tank the season and lose every game.

"Thibs wasn't hired to tank." Not sure what that really means.

The product stinks, and clearly makes last year a fluke season.

Playing the young guys more and more while benching the starters is the only reasonable path to getting out of this terrible mess.

Nah. These kids are too hungry to "tank every game".

Last year was a fluke? Funny. Because this time last year the Knicks only had 1 more win than they currently do this year.

What a joke.

No posting until the 82 game season is over buddy.

Ok we get it you watch a lot of espn talking heads shows and want to regurgitate lazy Knick hate talking points from up to 2 years ago

NY has actually gone 8-5 without Derrick Rose this year (.615%).

If his 8 week timeline is accurate we'll get him back Feburary 16th of 2022.

Which means another 19 games without him.

Meaning that he could return @ Brooklyn with another 24 games remaining before postseason play.

Hopefully once he returns, he'll give us another spark off the bench (as he did last year during his 35 games of play @ 24-11 overall).
