Fournier has become my most hated player this season. I have no idea what Leon Rose and Perry were thinking. He's the most anti-Thibs type player you can have. And shame on Steve Clifford for selling him to Thibs! He had to have known it wasn't gonna work!

I really hope we trade him asap. I'd even trade him for a 2nd rounder like Orlando did. He's Tim Hardaway Jr.-esque. Doesn't impact winning at all.

And after he's gone, can we never ever sign or draft any French players ever again? Between Weis and Ntilikina and now Fournier, we just don't have any luck with them.

I still don’t think he can bump EF from the starting lineup because of all that chedda cheese lining EF’s pockets.

Do you really think this or just sarcasm?

If I had to put a guess out there, Thibs was behind the Fournier signing via his good buddy Steve Clifford, or at least was in favor of it.

Thibs is a tough coach when it comes to rookies, love it or hate it, right or wrong, just who he is. When IQ proved himself last year, he did not fall from the rotation. Obi in a slightly different situation with Randle before him.

On the other hand, we can also say Thibs coaches to win at all costs, give or take. So why would he hesitate to bench EF if Grimes keeps on producing?

Why? By fans decree to perpetuate a negative narrative to exfoliate the pent up knick frustrations.
When the faithful start wishing Dolan to interfere you know its dumb.
Bing-Bong……. DON’T DURANT WISH HE CAME TO THE KNNNNICKS……..
IM THINKNG NOT

This is what EF and Kemba were suppose to do. Open it up. If Grimes gets covered it swings to EF.

I think grimes has the ability to consistently shoot a better percentage than RJ

1 should be a starter and the Other needs to be a bench player if we keep both going forward.

But if grimes really can shoot like Allan Houston with better defense there is a strong case he should be our starting 2 in the future. We shall see.

R.J. Barrett is only a 3rd year player with All-Star ability as a two way player. His future is sky high and there is NO WAY he's not apart of our starting 5 moving forward.

SF: R.J. Barrett.
SG: Quentin Grimes.

I love it.

Yea I’ve changed my mind in the last 2 hours. Both should start.

Or we simply just move RJ to his natural position at the 3 and start Grimes at the 2

There is literally no downside to starting Grimes over Fournier

RJ Barrett low-IQ and weak @-Way performance has been the BIGGEST problem in the starter lineup for 3 straight seasons. Barrett performance is terrible in both position SG/SF.
I would be scared to put any player in Randle & Barrett starter lineup.

Selecting Grimes as the team first pick in the 2021 draft (having 2 first round picks), then exploiting Grimes & Knox for trade bait for Dec 15.. And Grimes being the best all-around player the Knicks added to the team in the offseason.
Shows our head-coach & GM are off track of building a winning team. Randle's no good without Bullocks complimentary hustle backing him up. And RJ Barrett's talent does not belong in a NBA starter lineup,
Plus 3rd pick Barrett should have been traded the last 2 off seasons.

Yes this is what I’m hoping for the future. 2 two-way interchangeable wings.
