Luca Vildoza aka "Argentinian" Rivers highlights. I'm seeing a combo guard with a nice shot, similar to Austin Rivers. But I'm not seeing the answer to our point guard prayers. Seeing the defense Frank played on Ricky Rubio, I'm sure Frank would eat Luca alive if he were the primary ball handler. It looks like Luca can't free himself to get to an open stall and take a crap without a pick.

monday morning psychologist checking in: when FIBA frank knows he's plan A and there isn't plan B he hits shots. When NBA frank sees himself surrounded by superior talent he overthinks his role. i want him to succeed as a Knick, realize he's younger than some of the guys on draft radar (Duarte), but he -- and he alone -- needs to solve this. He's got pretzels in his head. Play great D, hit open shots. Everything else is gravy
Regarding RJ: i am a huge fan as clear from many prior posts. If we decide we want to truly change things, be institutionally superior, we will keep him and continue to do a number of good things we have been doing in terms of acquiring talent -- good from the brain down. MY worry is we do something shortsighted like the 2 year rental on Butler for Lavine, Lauri plus others. Keep RJ!!! (5)(7)

Agree on Frank.
A lot of pressure to come in and know if you do anything wrong you’re benched. Also hard to watch players that don’t deserve the respect like Payton play terrible for 20 games and get all the rope possible. Can’t handle players that way. He will shine and be productive in Dallas, OKC, etc. The Lakers or Clippers should take a chance on him. He’s going to be under valued massively and someone is going to sign him for a good number. Someone brought up the idea of Lonzo being signed to play the 3 spot and play alongside a Lowry here. I think Frank in that role would also be successful for a team: |
