I'll tell you how it's all "blame Thibs" Frank was finally turning the corner and coming on under Miller. The team was playing better too. Then he had worked on his 3 point shot the following off-season. Only to be nearly ignored by Thibs. That's how. Best perimeter defender on the team. Rotting on the bench. Your last statement is just straight up ignorant
Make the most you can out of what you have in front of you. That's what men do. That's about personal integrity. If your coach changes, you adjust and find a way to make your mark on your team and in the entire league.
Play in a manner in which you cannot be denied. If you only get two minutes in garbage time, then make it the most fierce two minutes anyone has ever played in the entire league in all of recorded NBA history.
Not every excuse is false. Some excuses have a real point. But every excuse, true or false, is still completely irrelevant. Personal integrity is not fueled by excuses, it needs your sacrifice and your will and your whole heart to become rocket fuel.
