Rockets in 2018 were 50-5 with Capella, Harden and Paul on the floor.
MElo lasted a month. The offense was 1st the year before and defense was 26th. IN the very very brief time Melo was in the line up the offense slipped to 9th. When he left they got back to No. 1. But the defense did not improve. That's not on Melo. with him they were 5-7 Fact is they tried and it was bad. They still finished one game out of 1st place with 53 wins in a tough west conference. As for bringing him back, really there is no reason given our timeline and roster make up. Nothing more to say. Good dude, end of career, might fair better in strict role with a contender off the bench. Might be Lakers, Might be Brooklyn if they starphuch with KD and KI. If he is working out like crazy and doing a documentary it could be fun. Hope it works out for him. |
