False. All of what you said above is incorrect, except the proceed with caution part, in which you ignored your own advice. It all depends on the seriousness of the injury; no 2 injuries are the same and no 2 ACL injuries are the same.

There is nothing worth for real rape victims, woman, children, or man, that people who used the fake rape for extortion and black mail.
I agree that young athletes need to be educated about zillions of ways they can be explored to extract their money and destroy their reputation along the way.
There is a whole legal and reasonably save industry to get any sex service they want if they will pay accordingly.
In the world where hundred of thousands of innocent kids and women are victims of sex trafficking this high profile celebrity hysteria looks preposterous to me.

One thing I would note is that walking out of the hospital is different from the first night of the injury. Time will tell as info comes out.

Wait, why don't you just tell us what you know about ACL injuries and what you know about KP's and how bad it was that night. That'll clear everything right up.

I will follow up with how I recall seeing a post about KP walking out of the MRI that night.
