Very impressive.

LOL: Did perry draft him or trade him??? Neither or both?
Victor is what I hope Frank grow up to be. Super long arm player with deceptive speed.

Either way the Magic fans must be weeping- the two young players they had with great talent they traded for essentially nothing, while the young players they kept are basically busts.

They traded Oladipo and a lottery pick for Ibaka. That's just crazy. Oladipo is the franchise player they have been desperate for, and getting franchise players is the hardest thing in the NBA. This is why patience is a must with these young guys.

Haven't watched Pacers much at all... franchise player quite the declaration, or is he more like 1b type player?

Dude's put up some big numbers this year. I agree with Nalod, this is what I hope Frank morphs into.

Haven’t had enough time to watch Jrue Holiday, but I’m hopeful that Frank follows both he and Olidipo. Both are over 26, long road ahead

Tough loss for Indy today. If Dipo made the 3 with 12 seconds to go it would have tied the game. They fought hard, Lance Stephenson played well

Rockets 2nd quarter was impressive.
Townes looked fat and slow vs. Rockets.

Haven't really watched him at all this season or post season, dude lost it 2 years ago

He hasn't kept up with his body or age. Still tries to bang and feel like he has bulked up instead of doing the opposite.

Lebron got that look on his face.
He needs more support. The talent is there but nobody looks like they stepping up enough.
JR looking older. Great steal on olidipo's mistake!
Hell of a first round matchup for both teams. 4-5 teams first rounds are a bytch for them!
Cav's could take the east or get bounced here. They have the talent potential but the chemistry is lacking and Lebron carrying them is not enough.
He was inspirational last nite. Question is "Whos inspired"?

Then whom?

I see Finals Raptors and Houston

Anybody but the Rockets please. Can't stand D'Antoni. What was he chasing with a 6 game lead, the number one seed, home court clinched, going into the playoffs playing all his main guys big minutes? Can't stand Harden. When you can watch a guy hook a player on a drive to the basket and then throw his body into the same guy and get to the line over and over again I don't know how you root for that guy unless you are from Houston.

+1 Close last night. Think Wolves would of won if they did not keep sticking Towns in the corner on switches. Hoping Butler and Towns will carry them for an upset. Think Pelicans will do some damage as well. Rooting for OKC and anyone but the Rockets and Warriors. In the East I like Raptors and Sixers with the edge going to Raptors.

Like I said......Pelicans VS Raptors in Finals. Or GS VS LBJ

I’m surprised how little these boards have lamented us not picking Donovan Mitchell this season, he’s been awesome. In fact I find it hard to watch the Jazz as we could easily have had their three main pieces- the Rubio for rose trade that never happened, And Gobert and Mitchell were both available when we picked. Ack.

Great points. Why Knick management thought it was necessary to add a third shooting guard when the Knicks had Shump and JR is still baffling. Gobert would have been a great pick.

Also, Mitchell has long arms.

Portland down 0-3? Dropped two at home? I haven't see any of their games. But wow - Is AD killing it?

Bucs have disappointed but they don't have a lot around Giannis

I have watched about 5 minutes of each game. Rondo and Holiday are getting a lot of credit for their teams success. Also have heard talk of Rondo's leadership both from analysts and Alvin Gentry.

Hindsight is 20/20. Everybody slept on Rudy. His improvement was extraordinary.

I wanted Rudy. I was pretty adamant about it on this board at the time. Some here still liked Tyson and didn't see a need for Rudy. I was all in. (Not a draft guru by any means but got that one right).

Makes sense, always been a Rondo fan. The guy hates to lose

AD, Mirotic, Holiday have all been playing at their top level. Mirotic can be very streaky (has long stretches of greta play followed by long stretches of sucking) so I'm not sure I trust him to not crap-out at some point.

Every year there is a guy that gets passed. Every year, or in subsequent you can look back and see guys that’s went later and were better than a few, or many before.
Every year.
Mitchell went 14th. Not just Knicks, but about 10 other teams might be lamenting. HE is not doubt a great surprise for Utah. Gorbert needed a few years to develop.
Manny passed on Steph Curry TWICE.
CUrry had injury problems his first few years.
You don’t know the proper order of things until after.
It has taken me years to digest this. How do you pick Kwame Brown, Anthony Bennett, etc????
You have to go back and understand the moment, not the ensuing facts.
It’s not just Knicks, its the process of the draft. It’s far from science.
It’s also way patience is necessary.

A sweep by a lower seed, does this every happen? Jrue Holiday played out of his mind

Watching Houston/Minny Harden looking like he still has playoff issues. If we want a team like Minny, Budenholzer would probably be the choice.
