IMO if we push for it we may be able to get Ariza, Capela. Wonder if the Rockets are enough under the cap where they can absorb the difference in salaries.
Capela
Porzingis
Ariza
Baker
Ntilikina
Two way starting 5 that can defend

That would be nice, but MDA isn't going to want Melo. Morey wool look like an idiot to fire the COY.
I think the rockets trade is DOA.
Maybe their hate for each other is overblown by know it all hater fans and the click fiending media?
MDA publicly said Melo went to Dolan with a "Its me or the coach" ultimatum. That isn't manufactured news. Melo can dictate what he wants all he likes, there's zero actual indication that the interest is mutual.
I thought the story was that Dantoni went with the ultimatum. .
I just googled it and that is the current story. I thought he went to management and asked for Melo to be traded for DWill.
Regardless to anything, Melo can not be traded to either team his camp requested, they know this. They have gotta be somewhere on a boat sipping champagne laughing their asses off. Two teams filled with veteran role players, no real draft picks, and longer contracts...what a joke..
Phil Knew a Buy out was the only way, and if he couldn't do that, it was either figure out a role on the teman for another year and half. Now mills takes over and is still beating a dead horse, pacing his office, and scratching his head..
They're other pressing matters, like a fckng PG who can take the pressure off your 18 yr old (all ready injured) french draft pick. A position that JH, KP, and the entire team needs desperately to have anything remotely call success.
