I like josh jackson. I'd be happy to get pick 3 and 37. If you feel you are getting a 10 ur superstar and a quality 2 nd choice at 37-- what's wrong w the return. No team is going to give us 5 lottery picks for kp. In a month after u see jackson u won't remember kps name

Briggs, the question isn't what's wrong with a 10 year superstar for Porzingis. You're missing the point.

Yeah you can ask for whatever you want but I'm saying what would appeal to me at a minimum basis

You think either the Bulls or Pacers (if George wasn't already leaving) would take JUST the #3 for Butler/George? Answer is no - it would require multiple picks and potentially multiple players.

So what about KP for Paul George? If KP had that value then that trade should work fine

What do we want with PG?

We need to be in full rebuild mode.

As i said a few weeks ago if some offered a top five pick, another high first rounder, and a hound prospect, then I would do it. A trade of boston's 3rd payment pick, a prospect like terry rosier or brown, and one of the high first rounders Boston has for 2018 would be enough for me.

Not 1 NBA franchise would swap KP for J-Jackson straight up --- you my friend are crazy and I love J-Jackson but you have to understand value.

Yeah. #3 (J-Jackson), J-Brown, T-Rozier and better of Net/Laker 2018 pick is a deal I do.

I don't want the likes of Crowder/Bradley/etc --- want all young guys and that is all I would consider to move KP -- otherwise sit tight and hope he keeps growing/improving.

If we moved KP for say #3 and J-Brown --- we would be laughed at universally around the league and 100% of press would be calling KP next Bill Russell in Beantown.

So Kps value is 2#3 picks am additional player picked in rd 1 and then maybe a #1 pick? Why don't u ask for bill Russell to? In. 2 years u will say Briggs I would've been happy w h Jackson and pick 37. If we can get more all the power to ya-- but I feel j Jackson and maybe frank jackson at 37 would be a haul

According to this article the Knicks were contacted by Phoenix about Porzingis. Phil Jackson asked for Devin Booker and the #4 pick in return.

The internet roasted thus idea calling Phil stupid as usual. Thing is its a negotiation. Counter offers are given. Pheonix has players we can use aside from Booker.

You're out of your frickin mind. Trading KP who is a budding star and possible super star for one draft pick, a compete unknown mind you, is nothing short of lunacy.

What on earth is wrong with some of you to even consider this kind of trade let alone advocate it. I swear knicks fans have been so beaten down they can't even think straight anymore. You really think trading KP for a DRAFT PICK is rational? Seek help. I'm serious.

Because it is stupid. Devin Booker is not a good basketball player; he makes no positive contribution on the court. So we'd be trading KP for the #4 pick, that's insane. BRIGGS' trade idea was better and that's a terrible trade.

I dont buy KP is some can't miss superstar, he has enough concerns to do a deal where we get multiple assets. KP pulling a power play while proven absolutely nothing in this league for me is enough to send him out of town. I wish we could send him to Orlando, or Charlotte see how he likes those bright lights. Wont be chasing models there

PG isn't re-signing with us. Indiana would do that trade in a heartbeat, but it would leave us high and dry in a year.

Indy would be. Indy would jump at the chance to trade PG, a guy who just told them he's leaving next summer, for KP. And PG doesn't do anything for us. Maybe we get to 41 wins and then he leaves for somewhere else.

I do this trade in a heart beat. I love KP as do everyone here. But his behavior since the season has ended demonstrates to me anyway a guy who has gotten a big head. I am not hankering to trade him but if they can get this kind of package bye KP

Everyone's behavior here turns bad eventually. I wonder why?

KP is a squeaky clean and near perfect prospect for this franchise and already the fans and lunatic gm are entertaining notions of moving on. I'd be speechless if I wasn't so mad at some of the fans who can't see what's really wrong here. It isn't KP!!! I can't even imagine the crap going on at msg behind closed doors and neither can you. Just know it's a circus. That I am certain of and whether you want to admit it or not you are too. We all know it. Dolan and jackson together is An Unholy abomination. This frickin franchise needs an exorcism and an enema, in that order.

Yeah, trade KP. Just great. He's the problem here. Sure he is.

This is a no brainer
Simple as this
There is a model of athletic wings who help teams win championships.
7-3 F who play 58 games have not

Take Josh Jackson and a fair deal of what ever other assets are reasonable not to kill it. I like KP wanted to draft him but he is not Jackson can be. This is not the Ny Melos or the Ny KPs-- this is the Knicks. If we traded w the Celtics for 1 I would've taken Jackson and if available at 2 or 3 and we can get that pick-- then go for it-- you'll be glad you did

There are only 5 teams in the NBA. Minny, Denver, Pacers, Knicks, Pelicans maybe 6 with Miluakee that have the type of big man that everyone in the NBA is craving for under the new modern style of ball.

Cant give that up for just Josh Jackson and a 2nd round pick.

If the Knicks can get Josh Jackson for KP--go for it
