You guys kill me, or maybe you just don't look at the entire picture, what has the cavs role playes done, JR look like the JR we had in the playoffs, absolute no show, shump is so brutal bad on offense, deron, is hit or miss.
GSW moves the ball, move themselves, and live by early offense, ever one of there key players can catch and shoot, their offense is so good that they can get by on avg defense. They are a combination of MDA, and POP. ES

Wait I am pretty sure you said they were valuable assets that Phil screwed up on the trade. Right? Aren't they key parts of your legendary 54 win team that you keep reminding everyone of? Now one is no show and the other is brutal on offense? Such a travesty!! I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only try to make them think - Socrates

Love isn't the offensive player Melo was but gets his points within the offense. Melo needs a team that can play him off the bench or a guard like Chris Paul that can control the Rock and deny Melo the ball when he's cold aka the entire 4th Quarter. Love can board. And neither plays crisp D. again his points are off of put backs and spot ups getting incredible passes from lebron i saw one turn around everything else was spot ups. look k love is a great talent but to put him in the same category of melo is silly. what would Melo do with lebron passing him the rock ? |

Could be remotely possible that Melo would be getting his points off of the same passes? But when Melo gets a put back or a spot up it would definitely count for more than when Kevin Love gets them, because comparing Kevin Love to Melo is silly. Got it, I am with you now. You are definitely entitled to your fantasy about Melo being a better defender and better fit. But reality is that Melo is piss poor defender and he and LeBron play the same position. Also Kevin Love is doing exactly what the Cavs need him to do, which is taking shots in the flow of the offense and not forcing the issue. Melo would back into a corner and pound the ball for about 18S each time he touches the ball. Whatever is working on Cleveland's offense right now might stop working when that happens.

You're counting dunks and low post back-to-the basket moves as "spot ups"? Spot up is used to refer to when a player is facing the basket and does nothing but catch the ball and immediately shoot a jumper - no fakes, not footwork, no turnaround, nothing other than an immediate catch and shoot. The ones at 0:46 and 1:51 are the only two out of the twelve that could be considered spot ups (and even 0:46 is iffy). |
