I remember the Isiah controversy with Wilson Chandler and Rush. I'm not saying it's common practice, but I'm sure it happens. My point is that I'm sure we're not getting the full picture picture of who's being worked out and who's already been vetted. Throw in Phil's lack of media communication and safe to say we need to take everything we hear and read with a grain of salt.

I think because the lower the players ranking, the more desperate they are, so they'll try out for whomever with no restrictions. Higher up players are likely trying to be more strategic, selective and at the same time will do more workouts if it looks like their not definitely going to be taken.
