Evry team is having a rough patch, we have 10 new players a new coach, and rambis. Willy and Lee are starting to play consistant , kuz has crack the rotation, these guys are going to get familiar with there roles. You have to let the procss play out before you blow it up.

The team actually has a better record in close than not close games. They are legitimately this bad.

So you want us to re-sign Rose to a max contract after this season?? If not then what's the sense in keeping this mess together this year especially if we can get some good assets for some of our vets??

We're not that far out of a top pick we commit to losing- we're only 4 or 5 wins ahead of the team that has the no.4 pick

How do you add franchise-changing talent to the roster under this CBA? You're the one who's tripping if you think you can do that any way other than the draft, but I'm interested to hear your alternative. Honestly? Teams have a huge financial advantage when re-signing their own FAs, teams have started matching max contracts for even the most mediocre restricted free agents- you just can't do it via free agency anymore other than in the most exceptional circumstances.

Unless Phil blows up this roster they won't be bad enough to get a top 5 pick! I'm not sure what you think the Knicks chances of falling far enough actually are but they still have a lot of teams ahead of them in a lottery situation. As bad as the losing has been they aren't in the running for that top pick.

We don't need that top pick, just a top 10 pick.

It doesn't have to be a one for one. Depending on how despraate Cleveland is for scoring they can do stupid things. Lebron is making them desperate. He is at 21 million for one year then he is at 0. Again, I don't really follow all these arcane trade rules but I think Rose is closer to what they are looking for than Melo at this point.
